This is a first for me of finding out about the Knit for Food knitathon. When the day arrives I plan on making a donation to the Yarn Harbor team. Are there any #litsycrafters who have known about this event before? Or like me just learning about it in 2025?

I don‘t buy many knitting books because my library has a great collection, but they don‘t own this one, it‘s full of intriguing patterns (including leaves!), and it was $1.50 at the thrift store.

I also got cherry turnovers from the grocery store on the way home. Between the dogs‘ morning exercise and my trek to the thrift store, I‘ve done 9km so far today. Pastries are necessary.

Why did I think starting a project in December to gift someone was a good idea? 🤦‍♀️ It‘s cutting into my end-of-the-year reading time! I have a tough time with audiobooks because I get distracted. I‘m finishing this to mindless tv aka Wipeout and Human vs. Hamster 🤣
