This one could've been a pick. But the narrator's accent was so irritating, the constant reminders of the location (yes, you're from Jonesboro and now live in Memphis - you've mentioned it at least 37 times), the repeated unrealized held breaths, laughs, tears, etc. just kept me from enjoying what was a pretty ok story.

I enjoyed the original CiE story much more than this one. The small Christmas town setting is still just as charming as ever, but setting alone can't carry a story. The story was very blah, and adding in a bunch of side plots didn't help. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either.

A pretty good MSW book. This one was very festive, and I liked that so many "regulars" returned for a visit, like Harry, Grady, and Amos. I'd guessed the ending fairly early on, but it was still fun watching everything fall into place.

I think if you like gentle, somewhat religious, Christmas romances, you'd like this one. The writing was good, but it's just not my cup of cocoa. I listened to it on audio, and the narration wasn't bad. Overall, it was ok but could have been shorter.
