A good old fashioned ‘enemies to lovers‘ story which was short and fun. Christmas isn‘t really important to the story but it added some atmosphere.

Short and cute, this holiday romance hinges on a funny set up when both Riley Kennedy and Kennedy Riley work at the same company. A personal email has Kennedy offering unsolicited advice to Riley and soon they are deciding at the holiday party that they may be able to help one another in a fake dating scheme. Not earth shattering but a nice, light listen that is well performed and makes for the perfect backdrop to holiday errands!

This was a reread for me. A short, sweet holiday romance. A well loved troupe of enemies to lovers story with an HEA. A novella so the story goes quickly. I liked the characters and loved the names pun. 4⭐️

I'm somewhere on the Ohio turnpike, heading towards Virginia to pick up an industrial sewing machine for my new part-time costuming job. Christmas is only a week away, but I'm still not feeling very festive at all. I downloaded a few light holiday reads for the trip... but so far this one is terrible. 😅

This was a short but different Christmas based Romance. Quite unique and different in its approach. Whilst set at Christmas, Christmas wasn‘t a big part of the story. Only about 3 hours long but available free if you are a member of Audible.

Cute sweet romance set around Christmas. Their love is forbidden but they found the way to be together. It was a little funny but much better than Scgood by the same author.

Of holiday romance stories this is one of the better ones. The plot is believable and there is a decent amount of character development. I was not crazy about the ending though. Felt it was unrealistic and cheesy. Upper 3s to 4 stars for this one.

This was much better than I was expecting! It had a unique premise (crossed emails due to the main characters having very similar names) and was way less silly than the cover indicates. I do think Riley should have called Kennedy out more on his shit, but overall I enjoyed this one.

I finished this #holidaycraft while listening to the tagged story. My older kids love Among Us, and my son always plays as Purple, so this will be his ornament. I finished my daughter's last night which was her yellow character standing over the body of purple. Apparently she's very good at the game. 😄

I listened to this while wrapping presents. Not really what I was expecting, but not bad. Available as a free audible original if you have credits still.

An overdone & predictable plot. The narrators were good, but could not overcome the mediocre writing and lack of character development.

The only upside is this is one of the monthly freebies on Audible, so I didn‘t waste a credit.

I finished this up tonight wrapping a few gifts for the office & I thought it was cute & fun like a holiday rom-com crossed with a bit of “The Hating Game.” I try to throw in a few lighter reads & holiday-themed fiction during the season so I am happy that I picked it as one of my free December Audible originals. A good quick (3 hrs) & enjoyable listen.

Keeping the #audiosouping seasonal today with this Audible Original which is cute so far. Today‘s soup is from a mention of recipe testing on Yotam Ottolenghi‘s Instagram page. No recipe but seems simple enough. In the pot are dried chickpeas, onion, garlic, butter, bay leaves, Parmesan rinds + broth to take it from soupy butter braised chickpeas to soup. Finish soup pics coming later but it smells pretty delicious.

This was so cute! I listened to this adorable hate-to-love office rom-com in one sitting, and it was perfect to get me in the holiday spirit while I was packing for vacation. Highly recommend for any Christina Lauren fans.

Love when my drive is the exact length of time left on my audiobook. Narrators were perfection. Fun Meet Cute Fake Boyfriend story. Niggling at the back of my mind is if guy wasn't tall & handsome, 1st interactions wouldn't be charming but creepy. The fact his lies/half truths came so easy would be scary in reality. Like so much romance you've just got to suspend reality & go with it. So my pick is with a momentary hesitation. 😏 #sundaydrive

I saw this on Litsy and needed a quick, light listen. I‘ve never been a fan of romance books on audio because different POV narrators doing the voices of the other POV character in their chapters makes me twitchy. But, because this was so short, I was able to deal. The tale is Hallmark Christmas Movie worthy. Cute and fun, with the requisite #romantsy HEA.

This was a quick #Audible listen. It‘s one of those pretend to be my date and I‘ll be yours and they end up falling in love. The premise is cliche but I really enjoyed the banter between the characters and it wasn‘t overly saccharine.

This is EXACTLY what you expect from a "fake Christmas relationship" story but it was cute and it brightened my commute for two days. ?

This is one of the free Audible Original offerings for December, and it was so cute. Andi Arndt and Sebastian York narrate, which is perfect. Only 2 hours, 54 minutes, so perfect to listen to while running errands.

Loved this one! The story was original and funny in places and moving in others. I'm glad they had two different narrators for the two POVs it made for a better performance. Also the story was not too sappy which I appreciated. 4.5⭐

I listened to this quick Audible original while I did some weekend cleaning - it's a contemporary romance with two narrators. It all starts when an advice columnist receives a question from one person at a company and accidentally replies to the other.

In poking around I discovered that what the male narrator looks like is a big mystery - his voice is awfully familiar to me and I have some guesses....
