The teacher passed out the little paper booklet and you took it home, and if you were lucky like I was your mom let you order whatever you wanted! You tore it off and handed it in with your $ and 2 weeks later a box 📦 was delivered to the classroom!! #happymemories #thanksmom #buywhatyouwant #bookfairenvy 8y

bookishkai Scholastic book days were the BEST. @KellyKate my mom was like yours, she never limited my book buying/consumption. Toys I had to save up for, but I could always have/get books. I think it was because when she was a kid my mom was the only reader in her house and she never had any of her own, but I reaped the benefits with all the books I wanted because via Scholastic they were really inexpensive. 8y
