Cozy Sunday night in bed reading 😊

I'm in the minority on this one. I did not understand the hype. The characters were one dimensional. The pacing was very slow. Some parts took forever, and others were rushed. From beginning to end, it was predictable. I think this would be a good book for someone getting into reading thrillers. Unfortunately, I didn't end up liking this one. 2/5

I loved the first book in this series, but it feels like it‘s getting a bit tired now.
Book 58/60 # Read2025 @DieAReader

Very descriptive from start to finish, allowing me to visualize it like a movie. I could probably draw a map from the way things are described, and I'd say it really picked up in the end. It wasn't as good as Ask for Andrea but quite similar in style. 8/10 I would recommend. Would be a good book gift for someone who is also a runner (main character/huge point of plot is running).

All my favorite things.

I‘m posting one book a day from my massive collection. No description, no reason for why I want to read it.

Had this not been written by J. D. Barker, I most likely wouldn't have read it. It was scary and creepy to me. I'm not sure, but it could be considered a light horror book. I don't read horror, but if J. D. Barker writes it, I am going to read it. It is an amazing writer who grabs me from the start. This book has scary things that are evil and scare people. I had chills a few times reading it. If you have never read J. D. Barker ⬇️

Loved this thriller followed up by a short story about one of the characters after! So intense and scary to think about this happening!😱
