Two More | David Drew, Elizabeth Jacobs

Two more books until I‘m #netzero for 2018.
Too bad I have four books on hold for me at a #localbookstore.

Should I buy them?

Alice Vega (bounty hunter) and Max Caplan (ex-cop turned PI) partner up to find 2 missing sisters. They‘re both interesting and develop a balanced partnership. A slow attraction is building. I guessed whodunit, I was surprised how you end up there. The flashbacks throughout provide useful background info but the switch is sometimes jarring. Hope to see more of Vega and Caplan. #litsybythenumbers #two #2 #lbtn

Finally started a #readingjournal for notes to help jog my memory since I have such a hard time remembering what I read almost as soon as I read it. #journal #litsybythenumbers #two #2

TK-421 I've been thinking of trying this too. You have beautiful handwriting! ❤️ 2y
RebelReader I‘m so glad to hear someone else has this problem. Sometimes all I can remember is I really liked it or I didn‘t! 🤣 2y

Andrew65 I like this. 💕 2y
seglitis I do one too. But not this detailed. Nice job! 2y
Miss_Kim I might try this! 📖🖊 2y
Bianca I love your handwriting. So neat. 2y
BiblioLitten I don't write summaries but maybe I should. Sometimes I don't remember a thing. Recent example, The Fourth Hand by Irving...not a thing. 😑 2y
Itchyfeetreader Beautiful script! 2y
CoffeeNBooks I had to start writing book summaries, because I would forget more than just the absolute basics. Even if I loved the book. I have an especially hard time remembering character names. I'm so jealous of people who can rattle off minute details about a book they read five years ago. 😆 2y
Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks I need to do this because when I was cataloging my books this weekend I couldn‘t remember some of them!! 😩🤣 2y
MonikaS Great idea! I have to start this too as I forget most details as soon as I finish a book 😢 2y
morgan_lionheart LibraryThing is great for this. 2y
Redy2trvl This is such a great idea!!!!!! 2y
tammysue Fab idea - I need to try this too! 2y
Chelleo @TK-421 thanks! 2y
Chelleo @RebelReader @BiblioLitten @CoffeeNBooks @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @MonikaS ... glad it‘s not just my memory. I was looking at my March books and couldn‘t remember a book I read just weeks ago! 😫 2y
Chelleo @morgan_lionheart Yes it is great but I only use it to track books I own, which is only a small portion of what I‘m actually read. I‘ve do write reviews but they don‘t include things like he character notes, setting or detailed notes (which I don‘t do too much of). 2y
Chelleo @seglitis @BiblioLitten @CoffeeNBooks ... the summaries help when I‘m trying to make reading suggestions. I keep the notes to one page. So far, I‘m loving it! 2y
sammisho This is a great idea! I read so much I forget details, like characters names. I usually can only remember how a book made me feel and if I liked it or not. 2y
Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @Chelleo 🤣🤣🤣 nope not just you!! 2y
Chelleo @sammisho same! And if someone starts talking details I‘m lost. 2y
jillrhudy I thought only old women like me did that. I could re-read a mystery I read 6 months ago and not remember whodunit unless there is something super “out there” about the killer. 2y
rjsthumbelina I like this idea! And I think you have a good appreciation for what belongs in the notes. Whenever I have tried to book journal, I either write way too much or way too little! 2y
Chelleo @jillrhudy same here! @rjsthumbelina I hope it helps when I‘m facing reading trivia where I‘m asked which character I wish was my real life BFF or something along by those lines 😜 2y
Chelleo Apparently my memory is so bad I forgot I already posted about my new reading journal! 😂😂😂 (edited) 2y
Q84 I love this! 2y
SqueakyChu I take notes on my phone. When I finish the book, I copy and paste my notes to the “private” notes space on the “edit my book” section of that book on LibraryThing. There the notes will remain forever! 😃 2y
Jinjer I forget what I read as soon as I‘m done reading, too. Very frustrating. Especially if someone asks what I‘m reading and what‘s the book about. Ehhhh...here! Read the back of the book it‘ll tell you!!! Maybe keeping a reading journal would help me...if I can remember to take notes.🙄 2y
bullbunny Oh i like this version of journaling 2y
Chelleo @bullbunny do you journal? 2y
bullbunny @Chelleo been trying to always end up finishing the book before i start lol 2y
rwmg This is why book clubs are so difficult. Hiw can I comment on a book I read two weeks ago? 2y
Chelleo @rwmg I remember those days! 2y
Chelleo @Jinjer 😂🤣😂 2y
Tameeka Such a good idea. I started keeping a sheet of paper as a bookmark to make notes. Your journal is a much better (and better looking 😄) idea! 2y
Bookishthoughts Isn't that funny! I have the same problem I'll finish a book and by like ...ok so chapter 1 was about what again? 😂 2y
MissAimz_55 I so need to do this!!! 2y

Captain Allenson obeyed, dropping down on the turf beside her. He was a handsome young fellow of thirty, with white teeth and an infectious smile.

"I'm glad somebody wants me," he observed." The Scotts are doing the #turtledove stunt, #two required, not three, Porter's devouring the Field, and I've been in mortal danger of being entertained by my hostess."

Worm loves worm.
They both decide to be the bride and groom.
Cricket says, “That isn‘t how it‘s always been done!”
So Worm and Worm change how it‘s done.
Because Worm loves Worm.
