A lovely, well-written Christmas romance. Lovable characters in a beautiful setting - a bookshop in Edinburgh at Christmas time. A perfect December read.

This book was not the fluffy light romcom I was expecting. There was some of that, but a much deeper range of emotions and challenges as well. I never read the book jacket comments before I start a book, as I am afraid of spoilers, so I really was unprepared. All in all, a good story and a worthwhile read, but there were a few too many coincidences in the plot to suit me. #SundayBuddyRead

This version of the classic holiday tale felt fresh and energetic, while remaining true to the original story. The unusual, beguiling illustrations added a bit of quirkiness. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this! Thanks, @Charityann for a great December pick for #FairyTaleReadingChallenge !

It was just okay. Mostly forgettable and I probably won‘t read the others in the series.

But more importantly, I finally got reindeer for my #winterreadathonwordbingo 🎉

This was the perfect first book for my December Fluff reading project! Sweet story, sweet romance, sweet setting… sweet reading! I wanted to be IN the book, attending the Christmas Festival, shopping at the market stalls, eating all the goodies, singing carols, and cheering on the characters. ❄️🎄❄️
