Pickpick

I found this very intriguing. I am a person who struggles to not check notifications of new slack messages etc, so deep work can be hard for me. However, after reading this book, I‘ve been convinced to give it more of a go. #workbooks

BkClubCare Fabulous! Mind-focus is good for those neural paths in the brain, I bet. 🧠 2y
annahenke @BkClubCare most definitely! 2y
Sparklemn I'm struggling being back in the office with ringing cellphones, cubicle chatter, etc. I miss my quiet home! 2y

Got work books? Anyone find books about time management, efficiency or leadership helpful to their job? I do and I'm just now starting Getting Things done. Pictured is my work library in my office. Any others you love? #workbooks #management #efficiency

Redwritinghood These look like things I should read. However, I read so much for my job that I just want to read for fun when I'm not at work. 8y
ScarletQuill I'm reading this one too. Love it! 8y
Meg858 I loved a lot of these! My most recent has been Never Split the Difference by Chris Voss 8y

This is my #TBR stack for #24in48 #readathon and possibly some reads for Sunday and the start of #DiverseAThon week! With the exception of two, the rest are borrowed from work! I might also read short stories on the Serial Reader app and possibly try to finish listening to The Book Thief.

#Bookfail No workplace books, unless you count those on my Kindle app. My first fail for #SomethingforSept #workbooks #bookphotochallenge

ReadingEnvy And my work books are at work. Where I don't go on Labor Day. 😜 8y
Lizpixie Yeah, I had trouble with this one as well. My last job was eighteen years ago. God I feel old☹️ 8y

#somethingforsept #workbooks. I'll bet you can't guess what I do for a living. None of these books were in Litsy.

Texreader @thegirlwiththelibrarybag @Laura317 The way I feel some days after duking it out with opposing counsel, I think you both could be right. But most of the time I like my job. I often feel like I'm on the side of all things right and just. ⚖ 8y

I'm a writer and a wannabe novelist, but my day job is in marketing. These are books suggested by or given to me by my boss. I have 3 other people on my content team. When you're often overloaded and stressed out, it's easy to forget about coaching and mentoring, so that's something our management team is currently focusing on. I'm grateful to work for an organization that values development and culture! #workbooks #septphotochallenge
