The bright spot in 2020 was Where the Crawdads Sing. Just wow! Suffered from “good book hang over” for a few weeks.

I am gutted with the turn of every page while also amazed at the love, Grace, and resilience of the characters. Great read.

So I typically don‘t quit a book, but I just couldn‘t stay with this. It started with laugh out loud humor and then just became erotica. I‘m no prude, but I like a little substance. I was reading this via audiobook with one of my favorite narrators. So disappointed.
Loving this book! Easy, light, fun, and endearing. Just returned from London...makes it that more enjoyable.
I have an 8 hour flight to London...chose this gem to pass the time.
Reading this via audiobook which makes it extra fun! Was hesitant at first having not read Karen White, but glad I jumped in. My new favorite phrase is, “Well bless her heart”. This is the best transition to use before slapping someone with an insult.

I needed a book for a long flight...went with Colleen Hoover. I feel for the young guy squeezed into the middle seat next to me....because I emotionally came unraveled! I cried like a baby. While I tried to stifle my sobs for my seat mates sake, it just wasn‘t possible. I had tears running off my glasses...and used my dress shirt as a tissue. My only ask is that Colleen include a warning...”don‘t read in mixed company and keep tissues handy”.
