Currently reading and I'm shamelessly hooked on this series! 🤗
What are you currently reading? Also, where you from?? I'm from Northern Norway, living my life above the arctic circle 😍

BiblioLitten Hi! I am currently reading The Bear and the Nightingale by Katherine Arden. I am from India. 7y
ArcticDwarf @BiblioLitten I've heard of that book! Isn't it a retelling? India, the land of Bollywood? 😍 7y
BiblioLitten I think so, yes. Bollywood it is! 🙂 Have you watched any movie or read a book about India? 7y
ArcticDwarf @BiblioLitten no, only watched Bollywood music videos before class (Bollywood dance classes) but I have a book on my shelf happening in India, I can't remember the name.....Hands of Delhi or something 🤔 7y

Not the most exciting book I've ever read but it's well written to the extend where you actually manage to get an image of the surroundings, the house and the people. A very interesting topic I want to know more about! An easy read which I recommend.

The first book I read for the "My height in books" challenge. I sincerely hope this book isn't representative for single women in their 30's. That would make them just as "crazy" as teenage girls rambling all over the place on explosive hormones. Exhausting.

I'm giving this book a 3 star.It would've been higher if it weren't for the maincharacter, Mira. She whines, belittle her self.I have a hard time understanding why the author wrote her like that. It's REALLY annoying. The story is very good, she's made a fantastic scenery for it and the hints of magic we get is so intriguing.Lots of villains you'll love to hate.I will read the next books, in hope of Mira growing an actual backbone.

This book made me add Rin Chupeco to my list of All Time Favourite Authors. Well written, scary and really creepy at times. I love that her writing shows Chupeco's deeper knowledge of Japanese culture and folklore. She has taken an old folklore telling and brought it into the 21st century. And she's done it in style. Looking forward to read the second installment, The Suffering.

This is truly a pageturner! It's creepy and chilling, frustrating and heart breaking. A masterpiece. This is the first book by Cat Clarke I've read but it most certainly won't be the last. The suspense had me on the brink of skimming through it just to found out how it all ended. It had me laughing and gasping, and almost crying.

Aaaaa yeah, this book! The description on the dustjacket is not serving it any justice. Yes, there's a handsome boy, a girl and beating hearts but there's so much more to this story. This is the first book in a trilogy about Mara, and (ofcourse) ends with a cliffhanger. The most breathtaking cliffhanger ever 👌

There are some people having such an impact on the world and universe and all things great, which you kind of only realize when you start thinking about age and life and death, and how not a single one of us is ever going to live forever. Neil Gaiman is one of these some.
Trigger Warning is darker short stories, where some end well and others just end. I'd read them all again if they were published as seperate 600 page books.

This book always get to me. How suddenly life as we know ut can change. Shatter us. How we manage to cope with grief so all consuming. The anger. The hate. Later, the realization and soul piercing sorrow. If there's one thing that's a bit off for me, is Jess and Leslie don't feel like they're from the same era of time. When describing Jess' life, how he speaks and acts, and his family, he's so old fashioned compared to how I picture Leslie.
