This is so far outside of my usual picks, and I‘m totally hooked! Who wouldn‘t love a world where women hold all of the power?

Ever bailed on a book you were enjoying, just because a main character reminded you of someone you really don‘t like and thinking of them made it impossible to enjoy the story? That‘s pretty much what happened here. I felt compelled to continue because it was for a book club. Thankfully @ElizaMarie and @bookandbedandtea were understanding of my need to #dnf #bookclubgonepostal #bcgp

New books from a Silent Reading event last night. Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir and The Midnight Library by Matt Haig. That was a DNF for me a few years ago, but I‘ve decided to give it a second chance.

Starting round 1 of #BookClubGonePostal #bcgp with @bookandbedandtea and @ElizaMarie . I love a coordinating bookmark, and this one from Good Talk Creations on Etsy was the only one for this job.

Book mail is the best kind of mail. Who has read it? What did you think of it?

“We‘re going to be in so much trouble,” Talia said, out of sight.
“How did you get batter on the ceiling?”
“By aiming,” Lucy said. “Duh.” 😂

Would anyone be interested in joining me for a #LMPBC of our own? It‘s not done through Litsy anymore, but I‘d love to do it on our own if a couple of people are interested. I took this picture recently to celebrate the fact that I finally had all of Abbi Waxman‘s books, and might use The Garden of Small Beginnings as my starting book if we decide to make this happen. Of course, I have a lot of others to choose from though. @LitsyEvents
@LitsyEvents I‘m a returning Litsy user and often think of a swap/bookclub I was part of because it was so fun. The tagged book is the one I used for that swap. We were split into groups of 4 or so, each person chose a book from our own shelf, wrote our thoughts in the margins and sent it to the next person. By the end, each of us got to read our own book and all of those chosen by the other group members. I‘d love to do that again.
Is there an admin or anyone I need to check in with, before sharing an idea for a book swap? I'm a returning Litsy user and it's one I still think about because I loved it so much. I'd love to do it again if people are interested. Just trying to avoid stepping on any toes. It was planned out by an admin the last time I did it.

I‘m about 80 pages from the end of this book and this book hangover is already coming! I loved the review on the covered that described it as “like being wrapped up in a big gay blanket.” My birthday is on Tuesday and I‘m planning to celebrate by binge reading Somewhere Beyond the Sea. 🥰
