So honored to hear Viet Thanh Nguyen speak about Enduring Wars in Transpacific Memory, and I'm pretty pumped about the signed book too!

When you read as many books as I do, sometimes it's hard to feel genuine excitement about a series. Not so with October Daye! These books are 🔥🔥🔥
My first stats-keeping! This is fun!
🤘 The Bone Witch was amazing!
🖕 Touch of the Demon by Diana Rowland was just plain offensive, totally ruined a good series.
And I had the nerve to be snobby and say this free Harlequin Nocturne wouldn't be good. 🤘
Light reading before bed 😺, highly recommend this graphic adaptation of Howard Zinn's People's History of the United States
This isn't a book, but I'm so excited to play Breath of the Wild over spring break! This beauty came in the mail but I won't have time for a few weeks, #gradschool
I forgot I had to finish this book for class at 9am tomorrow...bring on the coffee
Get ready for the quality of my posts to go way down because Litsy is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THAN LAST TIME I USED IT. Also, this book is growing on me!
Grad school has been kicking my ass this semester, but at least I'm getting to read good books....5 at once that is......😴
About to start my first Agatha Christie! Fitting that I chose the one in the library 🙄
I'm taking a comics readers advisory class in my MLIS program, and we choose our own comics! So send any and all recommendations my way!
*Insert extreme side-eye to 2016/17 legislature about reproductive freedom*
My audiobook hold came through...sad and hilarious at the same time. She left too soon.
I'd say that's a pretty good year of reading 😀🤓
"Women are always expected to be the gracious hostess, quick with an anecdote and a sprinkling of laughter at others' stories. We are always the ones who have to smooth over all the awkward moments in life with soul-crushing pleasantries."
So excited to dig into these Jessica Jones comics. Hopefully I can restrain myself from devouring them too quickly!
I felt like I should have been wearing this tiara while listening to the Selection! 😉
I didn't love the cattiness and judgment America had toward the other contestants, but it was a nice fluffy YA kind of day.
Amazing! I put this on hold at the library for Halloween and just got it now 😉😀
Getting over my reading slump with some old favorites. #BooksfromSteinbeck
I accidentally stayed up until 3:30am reading this fantastic book
