This TL children‘s book is a great book for a class RL. Growing up this was one of my favorite traditional literature books, I would always have my grandmother read it to me. This book contains pop-ups through providing a true visual of the text. I would use this text as a storytelling or it could be use through a RA. for grade levels k-2. #ucflae3414f19

This book is a 2018 Caldecott Honor Book and is a must read. This author gives a glimpse of what his life was like growing up and how the boy and father woke up hours before the father had to go to work to go fishing on the shore of a small pond in Minneapolis to make sure the family is fed. #ucflae3414f19
