Half a Soul by Olivia Atwater. A sweet Regency romantasy. Started a little slow but then found its pace and turned out to be a quick and lovely read.

Meet Feyre, the youngest daughters to a failed merchant. The families survival depends purely on Feyre and then she is taken away from her family by a faerie as punishment. During the first two hundred and fifty pages we watch as Feyre continuously goes back and forth to if she is escaping or not. Round and round we go.
I do not understand the hype around this book.

Starts a little slow - but the last 200 Pages just flew away. Predictable but very readable. A little spice, but not very much and egen it ends you are hooked on book number two in the Series

I can‘t even begin to imagine the horrors they‘ve suffered- I‘m sure Elide only saw the surface in that brief glimpse. Manon needs to step up and take care of business. And protect those under her jurisdiction. ⬇️

Better than all the rest

This was mentioned in a NYT article, so I decided to try it, and I‘m so glad I did. This is such different world building, and I loved it. I‘m not sure how I feel about the ribbons, or the term “saddle,” but I‘ll def be reading the rest of the series.

It was pretty good. Quick little audiobook 😊

Manon is showing too much softness, too much caring - at least in the eyes of that old bat. Aedion meets Rowan and it‘s all about the Alphas. Poor Aedion realizes he‘s been beaten by Rowan to the blood oath. This is a big deal - this was Aedion‘s calling. I felt bad for him. ⬇️
