This post will be vague because I don‘t want to give anything away. I picked so-so for this book because there is one part that had me intrigued, kept the pages turning, however… when the reveal came I was let down.

Overall I really liked this book. Very interesting and I was able to follow along without getting lost. The ending was lack luster and left a few things unfinished but I‘m glad I read it. It was different then any of the other thrillers I have read.

I really enjoyed reading Midnight Sun and Twilight in tandem. It was nice to have both points of view side by side.

Great book! Even though I guessed it towards the end I definitely had a bunch of ideas as to who done it while reading. The author did a fantastic job with that aspect. Good ended didn‘t leave me with a bunch of questions which is always a plus.

❤️ Another uplifting book. Loved the characters in this story. The ending was great as well. Although there was one character I was hoping would be wrapped up in a better way it made sense and overall I was happy.

I thought the book was good but definitely not my favorite from this author. The book dragged on for me and there were some characters that just dropped off and didn‘t get a mention at the end. However, there was some good parts too. I found myself thinking a lot about my family relationships and reflection is always a good thing.

I had a hard time deciding if this book was a So-So or a Pick. I loved the story concept but at the same time I struggled with keeping all the characters straight in the storyline. I wish the story was more focused. It was also slow in some parts.

Totally not what I thought I was getting into from what I read on the back of the book. The author did paint a picture but it was a depressing one. Plus it was another book that left many questions I had unanswered. Maybe if I knew it was a sad book I could appreciate it more but I was caught off guard and that ruined it for me. Proceed with caution if you pick this as your next read.

Fast paced, easy read, great characters, amazing plot, and great historical tidbits. My favorite thing was looking up the history I had never heard of and learning more about it. I really enjoyed this story and would love to read more by this author.

I really wanted to love this book. However, in my opinion it fell short. Sally‘s character was more of a damsel in distress searching for help which is very different from her character in the movie. Also, there was a ton of descriptive writing that felt the same. I did enjoy seeing the other holiday realms which is why I gave it a so-so rating instead of a pan. It was also nice to get some backstory to on Sally.

I kept losing interest and would set it down for weeks at a time but I finally got through it. A few of the characters were a little dry and it dragged on in some areas. I gave it a so-so rating because I was not expecting that ending at all. It took me by surprise.

I was super excited to read this book but in the end it was not as good as I had hoped. When I first started I had to keep going back to make sure I was keeping the characters straight. The story took off and then died down as I went along and the ending felt rushed to me. Great story idea but execution could of been a lot better.

Book 2 & 3 Are okay. They both have just enough good to keep you going. However, the long drawn out scenes in the book are boring and redundant. Overall, I started the series so I‘ll finish it but it‘s definitely a like/hate situation.

Mixed feelings about this book. At the start it reminded me so much of Twilight and Legacies that I was irritated at the author. I decided to power through and then found myself getting frustrated that it went on and on before getting to any content worth being excited over. Then finally, the book grabbed my attention enough to give the second book a try.

I have mixed feelings about this book. I love dark fairytales and I was intrigued by the concept of this book. However, I found it hard to focus because the writing was all over the place. It didn‘t have an easy flow and I kept having to go back feeling like I missed something. Normally I read a series till the end but I‘ll just find a summary of the next book instead of reading it.
