Almost done with this one. An easy, fun read. I don‘t usually read sci fi, but this has been entertaining so far! Although I find Jazz to bit annoying at times, I find the story to be intriguing. I haven‘t read The Martian, but will add to my TBR I think.

I had to bail. I couldn't take the main character seriously TBH. I really wanted to like it! I haven't bailed on a book in a very long time. I just couldn't do it 😑

So far, this book has me all KINDS OF HOOKED! I'm approaching the halfway mark and wow, it's good.

This was SO DIFFICULT AND UNCOMFORTABLE TO READ. As it should be though, right? How could a story about something so unfathomable be comfortable to experience? Although difficult, this book is somewhat softened by Atwood's poetic, meandering anecdotes. This is a must read for all. Looking forward to watching the series on Hulu! #thehandmaidstale

I am quite enjoying this book so far... only about a third of the way through so far (thanks to my cranky toddler - lucky for her, she's cute). However, I do find it difficult to read at some points. There are times I have to put it down and take a breather during a particularly intense part. Did anyone else feel this way?? #thehandmaidstale #margaretatwood
