"What the White Whale was to Ahab, has been hinted; what, at times, he was to me, as yet remains unsaid."

Sunday 6th October. O'Donoghues, Dublin Ireland.

Leftcoastzen I love Guinness all the time but it tastes even better in Dublin. 2mo

4.5 star rating average

“It's a journey...
Bruno felt so real, his trip had so many ups and downs, twists and turns. Such a complex and layered character I felt his heartbreak, i felt his confusion and I loved watching him fully wake up.
Smart writing!!“

Last post on Vagabundo for a while. I'll be sharing more of what I'm reading.

Please enter my Goodreads giveaway starting tomorrow.

The novel is especially for readers looking for thought-provoking fiction that takes you to faraway lands, along less traveled paths, and stays with you long after you've closed the book.

There are a number of Goodreads users who only enter giveaways purely to sell the books at profit.

This is a call to action for real readers to enter and win!

Hoping to read through the full series in the next couple of years. Casino Royale bit dated but still worth a read for any Bond fan. I have a feeling the next Bond film is going to be terrible. I hope I'm wrong.

LibrarianRyan 💜I once convinced a teen to pick it as her “classic“ for english class. We had an entire discussion of what made it classic, which she used in her essay and class presentation. She aced it. The teacher even found me in the library to say thanks for helping kids think outside the box. The funny part is all the classics on her original want list were checked out. The kids could choose any book but they had to demonstrate why it was a classic. 3mo
Stevenjohntait @LibrarianRyan Interesting. I'd have liked to read her essay. It's quite a different Bond from the ones I've seen in the films. I'm looking forward to reading the rest to see how he changes. I wouldn't mind writing a Bond novel myself one day. 3mo
LibrarianRyan @Stevenjohntait I wish I could have read it as well. I only know she aced it because the teacher told me. 3mo

A classic. Poetic language that fits perfectly with the philosophy it carries.

I wanted to read a quintessential New York City book - that wasn't Catcher in the Rye - while I was there. The girl at McNally Jackson recommended Just Kids. I used leaves from the city's trees as bookmarks while reading it on park benches and in cafes.
