I actually really liked this book! It gets some bad reviews; I think because it doesn't end the way it "should". But overall a cute story which played to the Christmas-y Scrooge theme. ? 4/5

A quick cute summer read. The teenage cooking competition creates an interesting backdrop to the mystery/romance unfolding. The pacing is a little off - feels like too much time is spent on the unimportant. Overall I enjoyed it! 3/5
