I really enjoyed this book, a lot of the characters were so relatable, which made it a lot easier to fall in love with them, and with the book.

So, I guess we are who we are for a lot of reasons. And maybe we'll never know most of them. But even if we don't have the power to choose where we come from, we can still choose where we go from there. We can still do things. And we can try to feel okay about them.

Finally got to read this, I had it in my TBR for too long. It was a really great great book. Very interesting, sci-fi, dystopian novel. There were so many metaphores and quoteable parts, and it really made me think deep and a lot of the story is actually still relatable now...but yeah, I enjoyed this book very much.

"The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which."

Amazing novel, read it in one sitting, I couldn't put it down. It made me realize so many things about the government and manipulation and honestly I'm a bit paranoid right now. But I recommend this to everyone!

Sooo I took this 'cool' photo yesterday. I just thought NASA t-shirt and The Martian would match well together, because, you know. Space. Anyway I'm enjoying this book so far, it's a really good story and very funny. A lot of the mathematics and space stuff is confusing, but this book is awesome.

This book really isn't for everyone. I couldn't put it down and I enjoyed it, but it was so violent and I don't think I'll be reading it again. This is one of those books, in my opinion, that I won't forget. And now I'm going to watch the movie and get ready for a real horrorshow, o my brothers.

It was amazing. I loved every. single. page. But the end is so confusing, I'm happy and sad at the same time. Seriously can't wait for the third book.💜

I'm almost finished. But I don't want this to end, it's such a great series...😢

Even though I read it months ago, this book just keeps coming back to me and it still makes me think. William Golding did a great job!

5 out of 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. I'm sooo happy that I found this series and started reading it. It's a great historical fiction, with romance and Scottish lads and much more.😊 I'm really excited about how this story will continue. PS: I'm so in love with Jamie, he's a total husband material!❤

Finally finished! It took me so long to read this book, but that's because I'm not used to this type of writing and there was so much detail. The story was amazing and beautiful. I started to enjoy the story from the first time Pip met Estella, I loved every part of this book these two were in. The ending was really good, I like how all the characters are connected in the end.

Trying some classic Dickens. I'm currently on the page 69 and still can't get into it. The story is good, but for me it's just so slow. I'll give it some more time and see what happens 😶

Joybishoptx It's an adjustment because he wrote with so much detail. Hang in there! The story is worth is and he is a master at characterization! 7y

LOVE MAKES US SUCH FOOLS.🐦
Finished this book a few days ago. This book is very uniqe and extraordinary. It's a beautiful story about three generations and their loves and sorrows, with a very magical realism. If you want something easy but not boring to read, you should try this one. Btw. there are so many quotable parts! And the cover is beautiful.

I'm not really into the romantic genre in general, but I think this book might have changed it. It was very easy and quick to read, I fell in love with the characters, especially with Louisa from the first few pages. From the second half of the book, I already knew how it's going to end, but I still hoped it would end different...This book broke my heart, but I stil recommend reading this💔😊
