As another review said quite appropriately. This book was a chore and a bore. I didn't feel connected to any of the characters except perhaps one that is possibly the first to die in the story. And even then I got over it fairly quickly. And there is very little magic. At all.

Possibly the most sexually explicit novel I've ever read. It's basically a genderbent modern Lolita but with a far more twisted protagonist.

And with a cover like this, I got more than a few looks reading this on my commute to work.

I didn't judge this book by its cover, I judged it by it's jacket copy and was instantly turned off. Two spies, one a "Nice Guy" and one a "Bad Boy" are sent to seduce an exceptional girl. The one she doesn't choose dies. Then things get complicated when unexpected feelings start developing.

We've seen it before, right? Wrong, cause it's not the girl the boys are getting hot and heavy over, it's each other. SOLD.

I loved this book. The highlights were definitely the smart, active main character and the positively captivating writing.

I love a character that doesn't spend a great deal of time in denial and that's what I really appreciate about Maya. She has no trouble believing what she is being told. Herein lies the trouble...
