Starting a Neil Gaiman I have not read yet.
I really enjoyed the world and the characters. I wish I had the strength of self and commitment to hold on to my dreams and ambitions like Lazlo. I was not thrilled at the cliffhanger like ending but I am intrigued enough to read the second half of the duology.
April #ReadYourKindle picks. There are a few on here I might just read even if they aren't picked 😀

Another blast of an adventure with this delightful cast of characters. There were some truly harrowing sections too. The only bummer is I am now caught up on this series and have to wait for the next one! 5⭐️

This was a hard one to get into because it doesn‘t follow the same main character and it was so slow in the beginning. What I really enjoyed about American Gods was the complexity of the problems and all the gods we got to experience. It took a really long time to experience any of that magically portion which caused me to drag my feet reading this. That being said, once those elements were back in the story, I was flying through the book.
Audio. Jamaican island inspired story against dragon rider colonization? Amazing. The aspects of such were well written. The characters themselves, the sisters, were great apart. Together, I got lost to where the plot was going when they were split between their islands. First half was difficult to stay focused with, though the closing twists had me stop in my tracks. This was a fun listen and I‘m intrigued how the sequel will go about it all.
Treating myself to a self care day on this cold rainy day 💕 book has been intriguing & entertaining so far but I have so many questions #currentread
I feel like this is the perfect summation of people‘s relationships to religion and deities. The devout (Everlayne), those going through the motions (Renfis), and those who are over the bs (Kingfisher).

Going on my first ever work trip today, so I‘m giving this one a reread while I wait!
