I love books with unreliable narrators but like this went beyond that.

I‘m questioning if the narrator is unreliable, if ALL the characters are unreliable, if my own understanding of this book is unreliable!

I listened to the audiobook version of Dear Girls and I was so so happy to find out that Ali was the narrator! Having her read her own book to me was an experience that cannot be topped!

I was engrossed in the novel the whole time. ⠀⠀
I was a little disappointed that there weren‘t any ghosts, but the truth of what was going on and the ending really brought the rating up for me. ⠀⠀
I loved the dichotomy between Victorian vintage and new tech smart house. The war between the two house styles carries on throughout the novel in different ways as well. Past and present constantly fighting for the spotlight. ⠀

I‘m a little disappointed by the creep factor. I mean, Jake is a little creepy. Mr. Collins is a little creepy. But that‘s it.

Please tell me it gets creepier
