1. 55 books!
2. 30 books. I fell in love with reading again this year :)
3. I am super excited to read The Wicked King and The Queen of Nothing.
4. Watching snowfall out the window while cuddling under a blanket and reading. It‘s so cozy!

I give Winterwood by Shea Ernshaw 5 stars. To be honest I really didn‘t expect to like this book. My personal tastes lead me to more fantastical books. Even though this book has an element of magic, it isn‘t overwhelming. I think this book reads more like a contemporary novel with some light magic than a fantasy novel.

I just finished bingeing Untamed and it was amazing. Probably my favorite book in the House of Night series so far. I love how big of a role grandma Redbird has in this book. Unfortunately I only own the first 4 books in the series and now have to wait and see if I get any more for Christmas. I can‘t wait to continue!
Time to start this Sunday full of reading! I‘m excited to keep reading the House of Night series with Chosen. My time is not where I was hoping for #24b4Monday. I won‘t make it to 24 hours but I plan to go for a big chunk today!

I am loving this book so far. Zoey‘s story is unfolding in classic YA fashion. This totally reminds me of Vampire Academy which I loved! I got in 4:44:44 of reading today. (I‘m not sure if I‘m supposed to report that in a different way). Have fun reading!

I loved this book and this whole series. I thought Five Dark Fates ended the series perfectly! One thing that I really liked about this series was that there were no dud books. Usually second or third books fall flat in a series but I absolutely loved every one of Kendare Blake‘s books!!!
This is my TBR for this weekend and #mrbook1inamillion readathon. I have a busy Saturday so I know I won‘t get through them all, but I am excited to do my very first #24b4monday!
It‘s quiet at my daycare. For once all of the kids are napping at the same time. I can‘t resist the chance to get some reading in! I need to find out what Jules Milone is up to!
1. I love seeing other people who are reading the same books as me and I love to hear different opinions about those books!
2. Books that I‘m not interested in haha.
3. I‘m not sure
4. I try to post a few times a week, everyday if I can.
5. I think I would enjoy all of those things but as a relatively new Litten I am not sure how to get started.
6. Instructions for new members to join activities.
I‘m pretty new to Litsy but can anyone tell me how to join a Christmas/winter swap and how it works?
I‘m up before the sun with two of my favorite things. A homemade latte and a good book! So far I am loving this book, but I‘m not sure I want the Three Dark Crowns series to end!!!
Last day of my read along of Marked. I finished the book and loved it! As you can see my orange cat helped me read about Nala, the orange cat in the book! I had a hard time putting the book down during the last 100 pages. I am so curious to find out what will happen next! Good thing I have the next three books ready to read! Let me know what you thought of Marked.
Day two of my Marked read along. Today I read chapters 11-19. This section was mostly about two different full moon rituals. I liked learning more about the Vampyres and the rules of their community. I also completely love Zoey‘s friends Stevie Rae and Damien! I also really like Zoey‘s cat. I love female orange cats! Things are getting a little more complicated for Zoey because she isn‘t like theothers. Can‘t wait to read more!
Day one of my read along and the first 10 chapters of Marked. So far I am really like the mix of Vampire and Cherokee cultures. My favorite part was when Zoey described her laughter as birthday cake frosting! I‘m not so into the mean girl storyline and there is some offensive language in here. Some of the 2007 slang is not okay by today‘s standards. Overall I‘m looking forward to reading more! What are your thoughts?
I give Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo 4 stars. I really enjoyed the plot and Alex‘s character, but I found the book very confusing at times and I did not think the author did a good job of making the book mysterious or revealing twists throughout the book.

I give Three Dark Crowns by Kendare Blake 4.5 stars. This was a great YA fantasy book. It had some dark parts but I thought they were very well done. My only complaint would be the predictability of the ending. At chapter 3 I was able to guess the large plot twist.

I give The Tattooist of Auschwitz 5 stars. This novel based on the real experiences and memories of Lale and Gita Sokolov is heart breaking, but it is also a story of survival. Lale and Gita did what they had to do to survive horrific circumstances and create a future together.

Can someone please help me out with how this book ended. Who is Coco‘s Aunt and why is it a big deal? Clearly I missed something during the story!
I give Wilder Girls by Rory Power a rating of 4 stars. I really enjoyed the story about the Tox. But there were a few things that slowed down my reading like the author‘s writing style.

I give The Babysitters Coven by Kate Williams 3.5 stars. Overall I really liked the plot and the meat of the story, but I didn‘t enjoy all of the pop culture references.
