Reminded me of Friday night lights atmosphere!
The author immediately draws you into Shea and her life. Feeling stagnant in life when her best friend‘s mother dies, Shea finally starts taking chances and begins to grow up. Most of all, this is a sweet love story.
Is this teal @BarbaraTheBibliophage ?! That was hard! Lol thank you for the tag! 👗📚
@Allylu @AprilMae @CarolineLovesToRead can you find some silver books?!

I wanted to like this book. It has everything I love - Texas and football. It even has some pretty good details that you pick up if you live in the DFW area. But then it gets weird and the choices the main character starts to make, makes me feel icky.
And I think I remember why I had not read one of this authors books in a while. Life‘s too short to read books I am not enjoying - moving on to the next one. 👍😁
Haven‘t read anything from Emily Griffin in a while. Being a Texas girl, I am a sucker for just about anything set in Texas 😁

Not your traditional love story, but it worked!! 💙💙
I faced a moral dilemma with this book. Do I turn my phone on airplane mode or not to cheat the library return schedule to hear the ending of this book or do I I wait the 4 weeks to finish the last two hours? I chose to put my phone on airplane mode...
Enjoyed this book although the story traveled down an unexpected road. Wanted to finish because the suspense was killing me. Good listen! Recommend if you are an Emily Giffin fan.
This to me wasn't anything special, parts of it felt super dramatic and rushed. The ending was more of a "happy ending" and I found myself growing bored with the main characters. So-so for me!
Here is my azure colored books, as well as a book stack! I've enjoyed all of these books, except Fates and Furies and it's only because I haven't read it yet!! #booksacrossoceans #Augustlibrary17
Some books I found with #numbertitles I really enjoy Emily Giffin's books when I'm in the right mood 😊 Jodi is my fav!!

Though I'm a football fan, keeping up with the lingo was nearly exhausting. I had to stop reading several times through the first half just to stay focused. The last third of the book is where it finally picks up & the story is focused.
#FeistyFeb #MostReread is #HarryPotter #ChangedYourMindAbout is The One & Only because I typically do not like "chic lit" but this one made me more open minded to trying genres such as "beach reads."
So. Much. Football. Lingo. I'm 127 pages in & wishing for more about Shea & Ryan.
#Inthemoodforlove #SeasonsReadings2016 #EmilyGiffin #TheOneandOnly Not my favorite genre but I thought this book was pretty good.
I loved this Texas-centric story!
This was my first experience with Giffin's work, and I really enjoyed it. I'm a huge football girl, so I loved that aspect of it. The relationship issues were complex, and while the ending was predictable, I still liked it.
