This is an excellent little collection of sources both supporting and against suffrage. It was great to see lots of original material, such as transcripts of speeches, posters, bills etc. I greatly enjoyed this!

This is a collection of different types of texts from the time the suffragettes fought for their rights without knowing how it would turn out.

The bookmark‘s actually from a 1908 anti-suffrage postcard (I know! I just read the small print on the back 3 timed to check!), while the book contains articles, pamphlets, posters, letters from both sides of the suffrage debate.

I really enjoyed this book. As it says on the inside flap this book contains material from newspapers, pamphlets, posters and legal documents published between 1867 and 1928. It contains the suffragettes viewpoint and the anti-suffragette one. I really enjoyed the primary source material and getting from the time, and no analysis done in the present day.

After reading "The Children's Book" earlier this year, where the suffragettes are important towards the end, I really wanted to learn more. This seemed like a good starting point.

Interesting collection of images and documents both supporting and opposing the women‘s suffrage movement in Britain. I don‘t understand women who actively worked against the right of women to vote.

Just back from Berlin and these are the books that came home with me. I think I showed great restrain.

Thanks @mellissimo for drawing my attention to Dussman. What a great English books selection.

This tiny little Penguin Classic actually contained a surprising amount of information, including letters, articles, speeches and bills of law, all focused on the time during and after the fight for women‘s vote.

Some of it made me cringe, some of it made me mad, and most of it made me feel incredible proud to even belong to the same gender of the brave women who went through SO much to gain one more step towards equality for all of us!!

My #bookmarkexchange package arrived from Dorset!!!! So excited!!!!!!! My mail has been slowwwwww as has alllll my UPS or USPS mail ...ugh. Jenny I love it all!!!

Emmeline is an ancestor of mine and i am reading so much about her and the rest of the suffragettes to hand down this awesome knowledge and pride (and feminist values) to my children
