You're out of your mind if you think I bought this candy for trick-or-treaters. I knew I wanted to read this book, and also knew that it would be impossible to read without Hershey chocolate.

alisiakae Aww, you have a bunny too! Ours is grey and white. 🐰 💖 6y
BeansPage @4thhouseontheleft awe! Bunnies are so wonderful ❤️ Ours runs around the house like a cat. He's litter box trained and everything 😁 6y
alisiakae Same with ours! Although he hates hardwood floors, so he only runs around our living area where the rug is. I feel lucky, because he never gets into anything, and only chooses to come out of his cage when someone is nearby. 😃 6y
BeansPage @4thhouseontheleft Hershey used to eat our cords and phone chargers but he really doesn't do that anymore. He is getting on in age so he usually just comes out for love and pets now LOL Spoiled bunny 💕🐰💕 6y

#TBRtemptation post 2! The Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist goes through the real-life rags-to-riches story of Milton S. Hershey, the largely uneducated son of a minister's daughter who started candy shops that went under, went into the caramel business, then the chocolate business, and the rest is history. #blameLitsy #blameMrBook 😎

Lreads I read that! It was a really good book. Make sure to have some chocolate handy when you read it! 🍫 7y

#spookyoctober #candy

On a separate trip to Pennsylvania, my girlfriends and I visited the chocolate spa at The Hershey Hotel. It was as decadent and chocolately as you can imagine.

#ReadJanuary Day 13 - Set in Your City

Regardless of what you think about their products and current business practices, this is an interesting read about my city's founding and the building of a confectionery empire, and how much of that original dream has been changed.

Chachic You live in Hershey! Must be an interesting place. 8y
DivineDiana As a fellow Pennsylvanian, I have visited Hershey many times. From Hershey Park and Chocolate World to the Hershey Hotel and concerts at Hershey Stadium, I have many good memories. Seems like I also recall the aroma of chocolate, a good thing! 8y
Captivatedbybooks Im in Philly. I must say the chocolate bought at Hersey has such a richer taste! 8y
slhbooks Have you read The Emperors of Chocolate? Kind of a history of the Mars candy company vs Hershey. It's probably been a good ten years since I read it, but I do remember it was quite good. 8y
mom2bugnbee My family & I adored the two times that we have visited Hershey. It's a fantastic vacation. 8y
