This was fantastic. A slow burn, female friendship, and healing from trauma make for one of the best second chance romances I've ever read.

A first for me by this author. Still thinking on it, not sure it was for me. The premise was difficult, kids who survived a school shooting find each other 10 years later and fall in love. Well written, just a tough hill to climb for an HEA. I may try another of hers, but not for a bit.

A must read. This author is the very best in story telling and character development. This is the first in Roni Loren‘s newest series. Totally great book.

Just finished the #BoundByHallowsBookClub June pick and I loved it!!! Quick, simple read that had me rooting for Liv and Finn. I‘m pumped to read the rest of the series and I adored the friendship these four girls created following the tragedy. Thanks #ColleenHoover for posting about this book! #JuneReads #Bookworm #BookClub #RoniLoren #ContemporaryRomance

Lovesbooks87 Loved this book and the book next book in the series. Roni Loren is my of my favorite authors! 6y

12 years after surviving a school shooting, Some of the survivors meet again for a documentary. Finn and Liv haven‘t seen each other since graduation and all the old feelings come rushing back.

This started out string with the school shooting and seeing how the survivors were still dealing with what happened to them, then it drifts off to a romance. The romance was great but I think some of the scenes went too long.

This second chance #romantsy between secret high school sweethearts who survived a school shooting wasn‘t quite what I expected. It started off strong with the reunion & back story then fell into a rather predictable & bland romance. The end was better but the story didn‘t quite live up to the promise of the premise & the beginning. Good but could have been great. I am interested to see how book 2 goes.

You know people mean no harm but at the same time they do it as a courtesy, not because they really want to hear your sorry-a$$ story of a life 😔😢

This ended up being my first read of 2018 because it releases tomorrow and I need to review it but I have no regrets about how I started the year. I like Roni Loren and will try anything she writes. This #romantsy about the survivors of a school shooting was nothing like I was afraid it would be. I loved the bonds the surviving girls forged and appreciated the focus on their strength and healing. The romance was a tad too tidy but still worked.

"It's been 12 years since tragedy struck the senior class of Long Acre High School. Only a few students survived that fateful night..." Well *there* is an intriguing premise for a "white hot" romance! #mynovbookmail

I'm starting another ARC. Probably do most of my reading of it later in the weekend. Peri gets knee surgery tomorrow (she tore a ligament in her back knee) and a niece and nephew are staying with me tomorrow night. Pic is of Peri and her best bud Ava from our walk tonight. #romantsy

robinb Best wishes for Peri! 7y
xicanti Poor Peri! I hope her surgery goes well. 7y

Sooo good!! Must have more!
#Netgalley you're a tease.
I have yet to read the entire book, but I was able to read the first part and I was impressed! I will def be reading the rest of the book when it gets released.
The set up to the story is perfect. A high school reunion unlike any other, these classmates reunite for interviews over a school shooting that occurred years ago. Only they survived, only they know what really happened that night.

julesG Sounds promising. I thought about requesting it but didn't want to just read a teaser. 8y
monkeygirlsmama Sounds really good. I hate the sneak peaks because they just leave you hanging. LoL 8y
monkeygirlsmama @julesG Same here. 8y
Ms_T Ooh, I like a good suspense story! 8y
