It's officially spring break! 🎉🌞
Lucas and I are going on a road trip tomorrow, and I wanted to bring a variety of books in case I get bored with one. Do you see any favorites in the stack?

Btw, we're not going anywhere exciting. We're driving up to his mom's house and, depending on her mood, may spent most of the time either grabbing drinks or holed up reading. 🤣 Pray for me.

Rachel.Rencher Okay I'm definitely starting State of Wonder first! I got rid of the Dorothy book and grabbed A Boy on the Bridge instead. I couldn't get through 20 pages of Dorothy. 🙅🏻‍♀️ 5y

Spring Break | Barbara Steiner

This is my kids‘ 2nd week of spring break. We spent almost the whole 1st week at home, because of my recuperation.
My big one is rereading a bunch of Judy Moody books, and my little one can now read Hop on Pop! Plus we listened to the entirety of Nim‘s Island on audio.

This week we have fewer bookish things, and more outings planned! We started with a visit to a petting zoo and some pony rides today. Anyone else on spring break this week?

Kelican17 We WOULD have gotten out on June 11. But we had 11 snow days (we are only allotted 6) so we have another week of school added to our calendar. #neverendingschoolyear 5y

CindyMyLifeIsLit @Kelican17 That really does suck! It‘s especially bad because if your makeup days are anything like ours, they‘re completely wasted. Many kids don‘t show up, and the ones that do don‘t see it as a regular school day and have no interest or intention of doing any work. So sorry to hear that! 😢 5y

Thank you @CoffeeNBooks for the lovely #jb card. My Amazon order of stationary also came today so I am now officially ready for March Break. The kids are all home, hubby is leaving on a business trip, the fridge and pantry are fully stocked so my only plan for the next 10 glorious days is to sip some good coffee, read, write #jb and #LitsyLove cards and lounge by the tv. Heaven! ☕️📚💌📺💕
