Ensnared takes up the macabre crown the first book did so well and brings it back to life. The looking glass world brings to life the darker side of the netherlings and shows how they can lust for bloodshed and pain. If you enjoy Alice in Wonderland and like reading young adult that teeters on the edge of adulthood, give the Splintered series a try. #fantasy #youngadult

Onto book 3 of this series. Oh my days its getting tense. I don't know if I'm more worried or excited to see what happens. @Jackal121
I'm sad this series is over. Sorry about the picture.
4/5 stars
I enjoyed this installment a lot. You get to see all the characters in a whole new light, revealing parts of themselves that you didn't think possible. The ending of this series was perfect to me. I love a good happy ending for all parties, this had just that. ⤠I love A.G. Howard!
I was so happy Jeb and Morpheus finally saw what's best for Alyssa and made it work so beautifully.
I‘ve been forgetting to update this again. Maybe I‘ll actually finish this card this month. 👠#TBR #TBRbingo
I still have the companion novel to read, but this was a great way to wrap up this trilogy. This book definitely focused more on the love triangle aspect, but since that was done differently, and there was still so much dark and twisted Wonderland parts to cover, I didn‘t mind it. This was a fun and super imaginative series.
Anyone else playing this new Harry Potter game? I‘m liking it, but I use energy so quickly. At least I can read while I wait for my energy to recharge.
Continuing on with the third book in the Splintered series, so I‘m starting this one now. I‘ll probably only read a chapter or two because I‘m pretty tired, but I‘m looking forward to seeing what happens next! 😊â¤ï¸
So I have been reading reviews for this book and people have been saying that it‘s not possible for Alyssa to be with both Jeb and M. Let me explain how I see it: Humans only choose one soulmate because they only have one heart! Alyssa didn‘t! How I see it, she is two people because of her two different hearts which made it reasonable for her to love Jeb and M. Also, Jeb was in love with her human side and M was in love with her other side.
AMAZING. I am speechless. It was so good but it played with my emotions sm smh.
I track my reading by chapters in my journal and track pages on Goodreads.
I‘ve only gotten like five minutes of reading this week because of work. I wish I had more time to read. (Feat. My dogs butt in the upper right corner).
Insanity is the most pristine clarity.

I love reading retellings. The Splintered series is one of my favorites. It combines my love for all things Alice in Wonderland and fairies.

Stoped by BN yesterday after the docs. Picked up these two. I'm suprised that in paperbacks they decide to used colored ink in the chapters. So not see that very often.
Bought this second hand expected a paperback so imagine my surprise when I received a hardback copy - nice ğŸ‘ğŸ»ğŸ‘ğŸ»
I'm crossing my fingers that this book saves the series for me.

Enjoyed this, the third book in the Splintered series, more than I expected. The love triangle does continue and becomes increasingly annoying but there's plenty of action which makes it an exciting read. I didn't like the ending but it did resolve everything which means I can move on.
I'm such a sucker for a bit of romance ğŸ˜ğŸ˜â¤â¤
I was so worried that I wouldn't enjoy Ensnared since I had mixed feelings at the end of Unhinged. I was wrong! Alyssa goes back down the rabbit hole on last time to face off against Red and take back her rightful place as Queen of Wonderland. With Jeb and Morpheus by her side they must save Wonderland from the decay and destruction that has taken over.
Just finished reading the third book in the Splintered series and I can not lie, tears were shed whilst reading it. I highly recommend reading this series if you enjoy fantasy or anything whimsical of the sorts. I am taking a break before a read the final book in the series. (Other than The Moth on The Mirror, which if i recall correctly is threw Morpheus's point of view). Any recommendations for other books to read?
