I started this graphic novel version of Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children last night. I never considered checking Prime and Kindle Unlimited before for graphic novels until last night. I was excited there were several that's been on my TBR list.

I was surprised with this one! I loved the graphic novel version of this book much better than the original, though I didn't think that that was possible! The artwork is amazing and brings even more depth to this already engaging story-line. Wonderful!

I would generally recommend this for high school and up, given the themes; although some advanced 8th-grade readers could reasonably get into this!

@Kimberlone and my nephew already tearing through his Christmas gift from his Aunt Kimberly. Next will be my gift Airborn by Kenneth Oppel.

I love the whole idea of this story. I've read the original novels as well.
The artwork isn't my style, but it is good and the old pictures are incorporated. You really couldn't have a Miss Peregrine book of any kind with out those pictures.

I have to be out of my apartment for a few hours today and Isabella is locked in the bathroom 😿 so it's #bookandbrew time and my favorite locally owned coffee shop.

Ok no more pussyfooting around! This cold really has me beat but I am going to be a productive bed-dweller today! The peculiar children graphic novel is due back Monday for sure and the other 2 I have just been renewing over and over and never finishing. Here's my Tortie Mogwai posing beautifully on top of the book. I think she really just wants attention. They get jealous of me taking pics of one another and then come cozy up to me. She is still giving me that - put the phone down and pet me look with her ears slanted and her nose up, but she knew what this was; just a prop to display my treasured books, lol j/k ( mostly) this book is really in demand now that the movie is coming out! 😎😍📚😻🎬

Uh oh! I haven't even touched the peculiar children graphic novel and another patron has requested it due Monday! Sooooo...I declare this "Graphic Novel Weekend!" So by Monday I will have read 3 books (technically.) This is my little Tortie troublemaker Mogwai. She keeps things interesting in the house ?she's 9 too. She was cute and weird looking when I got her, so that's why I named her the other name for Gremlin. ( My fav movie) ???????

This book left me curious and satisfied. Definitely a need-to-read

I didn't like this graphic novel at first. I had really high hopes for it since this is one of my favorite book series. I thought the artwork looked rushed and sketchy (literally). However, after a few pages I started to like the simple style. Once Jacob entered the loop, I was officially in love with it! Highly recommended if you have read the book.

Gave my teens an option between novel and graphic novel for the book club. I thought a lot got lost in the new format. Most weirdly, considering the visual format, the photos were way less effective. Did love the use of color though.
