pickIn younger years I didn't like Poirot. His arrogance annoyed me and I was influenced by some film adaptations (Peter Ustinov (who is a great actor, but for me not Poirot)), that didn't fit my imagination.
This little book is divided in 12 chapters. Every chapter deals with one subject and Poirot's best quotes are mentioned.
In nowadays I like the little man, mostly he's the one, you can believe in, when everything else is getting worse.
The only advantage over an argument with bf is, that afterwards you get a lot of reading done. Everyone sits in his rooms and doesn't speak a word.

I decided to include a spending tracker to see how much I actually spend on books in a year.
This book is too cute!! It put such a smile on my face reading through it and rediscovering Poirot's wit & wisdom. This one is staying on my bookshelf forever!! #agathachristie
Never really cared much for Hastings, and was rather relieved when Christie didn't persist with him as time went on, but when he plays the role of recipient of Poirot's jibes...
