Which type of reader are you? I‘m definitely a realist. 🤓😂
Reaching out to my community of Littens. I‘ve just opened an Etsy shop of my recent doodles! I would love for you all to check it out and spread the word. Any advice from other Etsy sellers would be appreciated as well. Much love! 💙 Shop link: https://etsy.me/3qO7LMW
Does anyone support any literacy organizations/charities? I want to give some love to groups that promote children‘s literacy! ❤️📚
Looking for audiobook recommendations! I‘ve been enjoying nonfiction books lately, including the tagged book, Sorry I‘m Late, I Didn‘t Want to Come, and God Bless This Mess. I want to find more home improvement, health/wellness, and funny or relatable memoirs/self-help books. Bonus if it‘s read by a great narrator or the author! #audiobook #audiobooks #audio #carreads
Addicting. 11/5 ⭐️. Even though the story is heavily post-apocalyptic, it‘s still so human in the way the character‘s lives overlap & the survivors find ways to begin again while remembering their old lives. Mandel writes the characters so well that I almost forgot it centered around a pandemic. I could (and will) talk about this book to everyone I know!
P.S. I definitely set this as my laptop screen as it was giving me post-Georgia Flu vibes…
I haven‘t been able to put this down since I started it last night! I‘m already on chapter 19. Something about the parallel between this epidemic and the current state of the world is really drawing me in to the story. I like how there‘s a balance of times before and during the Collapse. Definitely a page turner!
The story was okay, but it didn‘t pull me in. I‘m glad it was short because it definitely was enough. I think I liked the idea of the story better than how it was written.
Super cute and sweet book to kick off the new year. Any story with “book” in the title is usually a pick for me! Nina is relatable and the author did a great job of easily transporting me into Nina‘s life in Larchmont. If you want a quick and easy read with humor, romance, trivia facts, and plenty of literary nods, this one is for you! ❤️👓📚🐱
My #JanuaryTBR was picked by fellow Littens and my furry buddy! My goal is read at least 22 books in #2022 😊 #tbr #goodreads #beatthebacklist #mountTBR
Last book of 2021 ✔️ Absolutely would recommend. It‘s a combination of suspense, drama, mystery, and romance. I loved it even more because it took me back through the streets of Barcelona. Daniel & Julián are intricate, complex characters who remind you of the importance of honesty and trust, and the power of words. R.I.P. Carlos Ruiz Zafón. Gracias por compartir tus talentos con el mundo.
Trying something new for #JanuaryTBR!
Please look at my #Goodreads #TBR and comment your favorite book below. I‘ll pick 3 from the most recommended titles!

Super sweet, heartbreaking story. I wasn‘t expecting the epilogue! Poppy and Rune‘s story was a strong reminder of how precious life is and how grateful we should be for the relationships that make us feel loved and complete.
#Bookrecommendations from a fellow reader 🌸💌
5/5 ⭐️ Addicting, immersive, and a thought-provoking story. Owens‘ writing brought the marshes of North Carolina to life just as much as the characters. Kya‘s experiences gave a totally different perspective on life that I really appreciated!

I‘ve been SPOILED!!! @Kappadeemom - you outdid yourself with this #Screamathon box! 🤩🎃🖤 Amazing choices for books... I can‘t wait to read all of them! The soap smells soooo good, it perfumed the whole box 💓 and so many little goodies in here, I absolutely adore EVERYTHING!
Thanks to @4thhouseontheleft for hosting!!!
It‘s been a CRAZY past few weeks and I haven‘t been so active on here... but just wanted to let you know this #Screamathon swap box is on its way to @Kappadeemom 📬🙌🏼😄
Some light reading for this morning... I feel like I‘ve barely been reading since the school year started!! #TeachersofLitsy struggles 😩
My edition of the first book for #AgathaChristieClubR2 is an Omnibus published in 1993! I saw it on AbeBooks and couldn‘t resist. It feels like a little treasure on my shelf. 🔍
Saw this on @Librarybelle ‘s page and couldn‘t resist sharing! I‘ve been reading the Poirot books randomly as I come across them, and lately have been building up a collection of the series. @ferskner - I‘ll be joining in to #AgathaChristieClubR2 if it‘s not too late!
Dear Mr. Carr,
I really enjoyed The Alienist, so I‘m a little concerned about all of the negative reviews on this one. Despite the lack of glowing praise, I‘m curious enough to find out about this story for myself. Fingers crossed. 🤞🏼
Time to brush up on some knowledge before arrival!! I managed to get my hands on a Wizard‘s copy of Scamander‘s book, despite coming from a Muggle home.
The moving illustrations make this read so much more magical! ✨
My #September stack is full of books set in New York! I‘ll be traveling there in October for New York Comic Con, so I figured I‘d set the mood. 🏙🍎
These are only the books from my shelf - I‘m sure I‘ll get to some other e-books and audiobooks too!
Congratulations to @CoffeeNBooks - you‘ve won the $10 HPB gift card prize of the #10for10 giveaway! 🤩
Please send your e-mail address to lauren.losada89 @ gmail so I can share your e-gift! 💌
Special thanks to @Megabooks @Insightsintobooks @Dr._Who_number10 @REPollock and @kellyann28 for entering your fav feel-good reads! I‘ve tagged mine 🤗
#AugustWrapUp
A great month for reading despite going back to work! Fav book is tagged.
My desire to join the #MagicalReadathon2019 (better late than never!) led me to most of the books I read. I successfully earned an Outstanding for the #OWLsReadathon2019! One of the books also doubled for my #ReadLikeRory challenge.
I also finally finished both the Chronicles of Narnia and Harry Potter series, the latter for #HPBuddyRead.
Quite proud! 🤩
Setting a record today for fastest-read HP book. I have snacks. I have my audio. I‘m ready! 🤨🏆
Narnia has come to an end. I can‘t believe I‘ve made it through this 700+ page chunkster! The final installment in the series tied up all of the storylines very well, and I loved that it mentioned all of the characters from the beginning to the end of Narnian time. Definitely won‘t be the last time I step into Aslan‘s country! 🦁 100% #reread worthy ❤️
🎶 It‘s the most wonderful time of the year... Dunkin‘ is back with #pumpkin flavored everything!! 😍🎃
A pumpkin iced coffee & a coffee cake muffin & a #HarryPotter book. Life is great (besides the Hurricane Dorian warning 😅).
Wrapping up the (now defunct?) #HPBuddyRead through audio!! I read this one last December, so it‘s pretty fresh to reread. Figured that listening to it would at least make it feel newer 🎧
I didn‘t feel like this was official HP canon, but more like fan fiction. 🤷🏻♀️ Let‘s see if a second go changes my mind!
Friendly reminder that this weekend will be the last few days to enter in my #10for10 giveaway!!
Half Price Books is wonderful for used and new books, and they have a nice selection of bookish goodies!
See my original post for entry details 😊
Work demands have turned me into a weekend reader & poster!! I miss opening up Litsy every day!
Book felt slow and even though it did give some great insight into life with people diagnosed with mental illness such as schizophrenia, I was sort of bored through most of the story. Also, I didn‘t understand any of the (few) Patty Hearst references made throughout.
However - this satisfies my DADA OWL!
#MagicalReadathon2019 #ReadLikeRory 🧙🏻♀️📖
Nothing says “Sunday morning” like a strong cup of coffee, a visit to Narnia, and a cozy blanket. 😌☀️
THESE are the kind of zombie stories I enjoy!! The book was better than the movie, as usual, but I can‘t really choose one over the other. I will definitely be reading the rest of the series! 🧟♂️🧟♂️🧟♂️🧟♂️🧟♂️
As a thank you to all of you who have contributed to this milestone, I‘m hosting a giveaway! One lucky Litten will receive a $10 Half Price Books e-gift card. 🎁🤩

That feeling when your student actually enjoys the summer reading you assigned 😭❤️❤️ #TeachersofLitsy
Somewhat book related... I attended a preview of Disney World‘s Galaxy‘s Edge today, and brought home some Star Wars pins to add to the collection!
Woot woot!! Congrats @Megabooks on reaching 250K!
I checked my 5 star reads for the summer, and picked a mystery with an MC who loves books (one of my fav kinds of novels!)
Thanks for the chance to win the #25Etsy giveaway - Etsy is such a fun place to shop 🤩
🎉🥳🎉
I‘ve hit 10K! I joined in May 2018 reading The Night Circus (thx Goodreads stats!), & a little over a year later I‘ve interacted with so many wonderful, thoughtful, caring, and generous Littens! I‘ve read so many books & added tons more to my TBR because of you all! 🥰📚
Special S/O to my best Litsy friend, @Whimsical.Curiosity ! 💌
Will definitely be doing something special to commemorate... so look out for a giveaway of some sort! 🎁👀
So... I just updated my Goodreads to reflect all the books I want to read, but don‘t own. This means it doesn‘t include the #TBR books I have saved on #Scribd or #Libby, or the ones stacked on my shelf. 🤭
I tried to create some semblance of organization to my ever-growing #TBR shelf... 🥰
#LitsyAtoZ #MagicalReadathon2019 #Poirot #ReadLikeRory #Screamathon
Why am I like this? 😂 Out of all of the books I‘m “currently reading”, I‘m only actively reading 2. Does anyone else do this? 🤔
The tagged is the only one I‘m actually interested in. I‘m dragging myself through the Dreiser for a challenge.
The Name of the Wind is so slow that it lost my attention, and Lily was starting to sound too sad, so those have both been patiently sitting by my bedside waiting to be loved again 🤷🏻♀️
Alright bookish friends. I need your insight and suggestions!!
I‘m trying to find books for my high schoolers to read independently. I‘m choosing a book for each grade level, so I can give some assessment to hold them accountable.
I‘m looking for a book with interest level grades 9-12, but reading level 6-8 (I teach in special ed.). Would be great if an audiobook existed, and I don‘t want books that‘ve been adapted to film.
Any ideas? 🤔
The lives of people I stole from looked so easy. And as a child it never occurred to me that such lives could be earned. I figured life was something that was forced upon you and that you endured.
