I got a run in today! I had planned to go yesterday, but there were two sketchy guys in the parking area at the trail where I normally run, and I just didn‘t feel safe. Unfortunately, I didn‘t have time to drive somewhere else first and still get in my whole run. My in-laws kept the kids this afternoon and my husband went out with me today. #bfcr3 #goteam

Increasing my distance little by little! I ran a new way, to include this section by the railroad tracks. Gravel is not fun to run on, but part is brick and part is a boardwalk style. #bfcr3 #goteam

I unfortunately haven't been reading as much as I would like lately, but I started this training series from Audible this evening. I'm not sure that a half marathon distance is attainable for me right now, but I'm willing to try a bit. #bfcr3 #goteam

Amandajoy I‘ve seen these on audible. How are they? Do you listen while you run? 5y
tjwill @Amandajoy Yes, you listen while running. It has music at the pace you should be going, and the trainer talks through part of it too. She gives reminders to check your form, breathing, pace, etc. 5y

Not necessarily book related but the reason I haven't been posting much: my friend likes to do half marathons but hurt her knee so can't run. She asked me if I would walk it with her and I said yes. It's on Sunday! I've been spending all my time walking (with a friend so no audio books either). I'm starting to freak out a little.
