Overall Rating 4¼⭐ | Narration 😀 = Good
While I did find Annith‘s story to be a tad boring and I didn‘t fully connect with her character; I still found the over-arching story here to be a fitting end to the series. One that I‘m glad I finally got around to finishing. It also gives us closure to Sybella, (although, Sybella has a spin-off duo) Ismae‘s, and Anne‘s characters plus the state of the duchy of Brittany
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It took me over a month to finish the conclusion to this trilogy despite flying through the first two books. I found that even though this was a solid novel that tied up lots of loose ends and gave us some satisfying conclusions, I still didn‘t enjoy Annith‘s story as much as I did with Ismae‘s and Sybella‘s. Out of the entire trilogy, “Mortal Heart” fell a bit flat compared to its predecessors. Overall, I really enjoyed this series!
I don‘t have the dust jacket for this book, so this the best I can do 😂
This was a great ending to the trilogy. It wasn‘t my favorite of the 3, but I think it was a great ending. I was so nervous to read this since I‘ve hated YA fantasy the last couple of years. It doesn‘t have all of those YA tropes, but it does have romance.

1. Tagged (about 300 pages in) and A Murderous Relation (about 90 pages in)
2. Magician: Apprentice (it‘s the Sword and Laser pick for May I believe)
3. The Sun Down Motel, Beach Read and Kill The Farm Boy

Strong end to a very entertaining series. Much heavier on the spiritual fantasy elements - finally some backstory to the cast of gods & goddesses the series features - and perhaps a bit overdone on the love story, but in general highly entertaining. I enjoyed the series very much.

1. His Fair Assassin series. I read and loved the first 2 but haven‘t had the motivation to finish the series. It‘s only a trilogy.
2. Discovering BookRiot. It helped me expand my reading and discover new books. Before I was constantly just rereading books I owned because I didn‘t know how to discover books I liked.
3. Damon, always 💚💚 (from TVD)

Finished the trilogy! I loved this series. This last installment was my least favorite of the books (some weird stuff with gods that just didn‘t float my boat), but the author did a great job tying everything together in an unpredictable way. #teamdeath
In which Annith finally gets out of the convent, gets some answers, and makes her own way.
#BookishBingo: Arranged marriage (the duchess)
#RippedBodiceBingo: YA historical
#Pop19: Book set in an abbey/cloister/monastery/vicarage/convent
I loved the My Fair Assassin series - it‘s hard to choose a favorite out of the three books! Annith‘s story was the most unique of the three, and I loved her determination to go against the convent to seek her own destiny. All in all this was a great conclusion to the series, and I‘m looking forward to revisiting this world in Courting Darkness.
How does this hurt me so badly when I already know what happens?
I love my reread of this series and this was my favorite book on my first read through. Annith is kick ass!
I finally finished the #trilogy! While I liked Annith‘s story, I enjoyed Ismae and Sybella‘s more. Overall a solid end to the #HisFairAssassins series!
Well I finished the trilogy this weekend! It was definitely unexpected, and better than I imagined. The second book was absolutely the best! Bad-ass girl assassins 🤺

This series got better and better with each book! I loved the conclusion! I LOVE Annith and Balthazar! I did guess some of the plot, but it just made me want to keep reading to see if I was right. Whenever I did put the book down, I couldn't stop thinking about it. This final book was definitely my favorite of the three.
My first book of 2017! The third book in His Fair Assassin trilogy and I'm really enjoying them. Far darker than i expected, there are true to character adventures and happy endings. Good series!
This is one of the rare series that is equally good from the first book to the last.
This is the final book in His Fair Assassins trilogy and I started it well over a month ago. It's a good book and I'm enjoying it but for some reason I'm stalled on it. My goal for today is to get a hundred pages further into it.
How is it that I have never finished this series? I think I'll work on that today --if I can stay awake.
