I‘m finally catching up on some of my graphic novels. I adore Lumberjanes - they‘re light, fun, and filled with hardcore lady-types! This volume contains magical kittens (😻) and some monster birds. Bailey and Bella are not entertained - it must be the cat aspect. 🐶🐶

I think this one is my favorite so far. Who doesn‘t love magical kittens?!

Not my favorite in the series, but still very enjoyable. The kidnapping by bird was a bit boring. And the resolution seemed a little silly. But this is still a great series.

I have been intrigued by this series ......does it matter if they are read in order? I got this at the library, but am wondering if I should wait ...???

Enjoying some graphic novels and my dog recently has taken to diving under blankets for fun! I‘ve finished 5 graphic novels for the #readathon and am heading back into my novel next! The Strange Case of the Alchemist‘s Daughter

Sweet Agatha Christie! The Lumberjanes creative crew keeps surprising me with new fun. And important messages like how to work together with people you don‘t like. Special bonus in this volume: lots of magical kittens. 😻

I continue to love the antics of these girls - and this volume has MAGIC KITTENS.

This is definitely not my favorite volume in the series, but I still love this series so much. A giant bird and magical kittens are prominent in these chapters. I didn‘t like how they got rid of the chapter intros/badges, but the return of Barney and another past character at the end makes me want more! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Books 3 and 4. Undercover Princess by Connie Glynn and volume 7 of Lumberjanes.
Didn‘t quite manage 5 hours today but I need to sleep so I‘ll try again tomorrow.

Every day I do a quick talk on a few books my students might be interested in to help them plan for their independent reading. Tomorrow we‘ve got some bite-sized informational nonfiction, some local narrative nonfiction, some classic Jack London, and the latest volume of Lumberjanes (which some of my students are going to be super pumped about).

I am back to my “vampire” shift as my boss at the library so pulled this out to read for my last 90 minutes.

Love the Lumberjanes. Another good volume. This made me think of @MrBook

I‘m so in love with this series! I finally got Vol. 7 from the library, and of course it was fantastic. SO MANY KITTENS! 😝
