Undivided (Reprint)
Undivided (Reprint) | Neal Shusterman
Teens control the fate of America in the fourth and final book in the New York Times bestselling Unwind dystology by Neal Shusterman that Horn Book Magazine calls "ambitious, insightful, and devastating--a fitting conclusion to a provocative series." Proactive Citizenry, the company that created Cam from the parts of unwound teens, has a plan: to mass produce rewound teens like Cam for military purposes. And below the surface of that horror lies another shocking level of intrigue: Proactive Citizenry has been suppressing technology that could make unwinding completely unnecessary. As Conner, Risa, and Lev uncover these startling secrets, enraged teens begin to march on Washington to demand justice and a better future. But more trouble is brewing. Starkey's group of storked teens is growing more powerful and militant with each new recruit. And if they have their way, they'll burn the harvest camps to the ground and put every adult in them before a firing squad--which could destroy any chance America has for a peaceful future. "Everything culminates in an action-packed, heart-wrenching conclusion guaranteed to chill readers to the bone" (Kirkus Reviews).

A solid ending to the series that brings everything together and ends on an optimistic note for all the characters. This book makes up for what happened in book 3 with it not moving the plot forward a lot. It also has a lot of cool ands surprising moments that pushes the series to its final conclusion

A very satisfying conclusion to the series with plenty of “didn‘t see that coming” moments.

LibrarianRyan I really need to finish this series. I have done the first 2 books. book 2 wasn't what I was expecting from the blurb but I loved it. 4y
Bookgirl @LibrarianRyan there were some interesting turns that the story took but overall I really liked the whole series 4y

I really liked this last book in the series. There is a nice little intro to explain who some of the major players and companies are, and it includes general terminology, as well. I did have trouble remembering characters in the 3rd book, but I was able to catch on quicker and remember much better in this one. I still like the way the little “advertisements” are done in this series. Cont in comments...

LibraryCin I thought this one was quite exciting, though there were some tough happenings. Really good ending. 6y

Oh my god, I have so many feelings! I think I cried almost nonstop for the last 100 pages of this book. My heart!

Currently reading. Fell in love with the series when I started reading it to the point that I have been reading all the books in the series back to back and still there's some amount of interest left, enough to at least complete the series, but let's be honest, it's gotten old now. Still, great concept, makes you think. Definitely not anything run of the mill. But yeah, a trilogy might have been better...

Fudgezilla @RaimeyGallant well I am up 61 followers in less than 24 hrs of joining. So, yes. It is useful though I still don't understand the chronological order. But it's always nice interacting with new people. So new (active) followers are always a delight. 6y

As of right now, I‘m officially done with this series. It was an interesting one, yet not something I plan to reread. Really liked the idea of the first one, and decided to at least find out how it ends. The series as a whole does make you think about certain things (and also be thankful the real world doesn‘t have unwinding).

“Hole...” He grips Risa‘s hand tighter. “Hole, Risa, hole…”
And she smiles. “Yes, Connor,” she says. “You‘re whole. You‘re finally whole.”-Undivided.

The end to this dystology is a thrill ride of pretty monumental proportions. Connor, Risa, and Lev hurtle toward the conclusion of their story with break-neck speed, encountering some amazing twists & turns on the way. The cycle of POVs still bothered me, but the plot & the pacing was so excellent that I didn't have time to mind too much. If you're in the mood for something dark, twisted, & immensely compelling, this is the series for you! ★★★★☆.

#TBT When I met one of my favorite YA authors, Neal Shusterman! The Unwind Dystology is one of my favorite reads. Undivided is the final installment and it left me feeling satisfied (a sometimes unfamiliar feeling at the end of a series...)! Looking for a good read? Then this is the one for you!

I'm not loving all the jumping around from voice to voice, but the chapter I just read is narrated by Cam, who emerges as the most interesting character in this book and finally reveals the true evil the various factions will be fighting.

Mamashep I'm feeling that way about IMAGINE ME GONE. So hard to get invested in the characters when the voice keeps changing. 9y
KelseyCB Some authors do it so well (Faulkner's As I lay dying, the obvious example), but rarely does it work, in my opinion. 9y
