A few days in Dublin, Ireland meant a visit to see the Trinity College Library and The Book of Kells. The library is amazing, dating back to 1712. I could not take a photo of the book of Kells unfortunately! #oztraveller #library

JennyM You look to be having a great time👍 5y

#AbbaInAugust Day 11: The guy behind me looking on with amusement seems to be saying #KnowingMeKnowingYou as I was having my photo taken by a total stranger while at the Long Room (library) at Trinity College as part of the Book of Kells exhibition. Taken this morning. :)

Centique What an amazing place to visit! And such a cute photo 😂😂 6y

Fb likes to make me cry by reminding me that this time last year was my trip to Ireland. Trinity College was pretty cool.

(Also, let‘s all appreciate the random tourists and my inability to take cool photos of cool places)

Eggs Welcome to Litsy 👋🏻😊 6y

#ManicMonday @JoScho

🎨I love the cover & inside illustrations in Rumi. Also Book of Kells
🎨I‘m going with Van Gogh.. seeing some originals brought tears to my eyes ... the myth , the man ,the painting
🎨Fave painting is Girl At The Window, Salvador Dali
🎨🤷🏻‍♀️- it was exciting to go to the Picasso museum in Paris ❤️
#ArtAttack..... Happy Monday all 🙋🏻‍♀️

Brighid is standing on the shoulders of giants to wish the Irish Littens a happy St. Patrick's Day!

Featuring: John O'Donohue, Matthew Sweeney, Frank McCourt, Michael Longley, Seamus Heaney, Charles Maturin and James Joyce. Mr Oscar Wilde is there, too, but he is larger than life (as per usual) and wouldn't fit in the picture.

They are all men. Who wants to suggest some Irish women writers?

CoffeeCatsBooks Happy St. Patrick‘s Day! 🍀 7y
Cathythoughts Thankyou ☘️☘️☘️watching the parade at the mo. But the highlight today is the rugby ☘️. Ireland & England. Kick off at 2.45 ❤️ 7y
tjwill Tana French! Her books are mysteries from the perspective of the (fictional) Dublin Murder Squad. My favorite is 7y
batsy I've got Eimear McBride and Edna O'Brien on the TBR. I've only read one book by Elizabeth Bowen and loved it (and I think she was Irish but lived in England...) 7y
