When I first about The Great Santini it was in reference to the movie, which we watched in school, and I thought it was about a magician 😂
Read the book about 20yrs as part of a book club and was the only one who argued that Bull Meecham thought he was dispensing tough love on his family🤷♀️

so-soMy first Conroy. Not exactly the tightest plotted novel, but it entertained.
It's a rainy day, so I did what I do on rainy days...go buy books from HPB and bake cookies. I bought the Pat Conroy books in honor of #PatConroyDay. The cookies are Oatmeal Cinnamon Chip. They're good, but would be better with about 1/2 the chips🍪

pickHaunting story by an extremely talented author. I finished this quickly as it was difficult to set down. Highly recommend this for every reader.
