Signed book and beer haul from last night's event. It was a lot of fun, but way too short. Tears were shed, beer was drunk, my husband repeatedly called the author Sean, good times!
Book event tonight for the tagged book! Interview with the author, awesome local musicians playing Hip tunes, and it's at a local brewery. I'm a little excited 😁😍😁😍😁
Boyfriend dropped me off at work an hour early, more reading time for me to get this book started!
New book haul. 😁 Can't wait to dive in
April wrap-up 2/2: total of 24 books read!
A pretty strong second half of the month. Really enjoyed this biography of The Tragically Hip.
A great book about the Hip that has been put together with great care (I love the author's note stating that the chapters can be read in any order) and consideration for its subjects. Now I am working my way through their catalogue to check out new gems and rediscover forgotten faves.
OF COURSE Gord Downie introduced himself as Maurice Duplessis 😂😂
I love this author's note!
