Thank you @Oryx for introducing me to Dorothy Parker. I wasn't sure what to expect- I'm still not entirely sure I do, but I'll definitely read more.

The stories, the characters, are devastatingly sad, the writing's just beautiful, but the descriptions are cutting and bitingly funny! Loved it!

In my previous post I tried to alert @erzascarletbookgasm about the Penguin Moderns and look what arrives for me today. Total surprise #bookmail from her with one of the PM editions, Dorothy Parker! 😭 (tears of joy ❤️) And yes, I've been coveting that edition of Frankenstein!! Plus an Atwood that I don't have 😍 Thank you so much, my friend!
