Mary Shelley: The Strange True Tale of Frankenstein's Creator | 
so-soMary Shelley has such a tragic story, and yet through that, she created Frankenstein at such a young age that it leaves me in awe.
This is a YA nonfiction (#nonfictionNovember) and it was a tad dry and focused on Percy Shelley more than Mary.
It's a good introduction for readers who might not know anything about her life.

pickWonderful YA bio of one of my favs, Mary Shelley.
pickI‘m usually a hard critic of non fiction books and often prefer to read factionalized tales. However, I immensely enjoyed reading this biography about Mary Shelley, the creator of Frankenstein. Her life was scandalous, full of life, adventures, and tragic heart break. Told in an informative way that was an ease to follow. I enjoyed the writing style, quotes, and historical photographs throughout.

pickI really enjoyed this biography. I felt like the author did a good job of accurately portraying the Shelleys with all their faults and scandals while still keeping it appropriate for younger readers.
I don‘t think I would have cared for the Shelleys if I‘d known them, but they did live interesting lives! Really enjoying this biography
This looks like a fun. And right I time for #allhallowsread. End if the cover does remind me of the Strange Case of the Alchemists Daughter.
