Series Heartbreaker Bay book 6
Rating: 4.5 Stars - Another to add to a great series!

I think this is probably my favorite Heartbreaker Bay book so far!! I already loved Molly so putting her and Lucas together was like a dream. Molly just hangs in there with all of those big, tough private investigator-type guys that she works with and I adore her ability to give what she gets right back. I also love that Lucas sees who she really is and helps Molly‘s brother Joe stop hovering so much so she can live her own life. #romantsy
Lucas and Molly sure did bring a lot of their own baggage to the table in this one. Molly is trying to break out of the box that her brother and boss have put her in. Lucas is going a bit stir crazy and is blackmailed into Molly's backup. These two have so much chemistry. Molly deals with the chronicness of an old injury. Seeing it so honestly and accurately described was amazing. Molly will always hold a special place for me for that reason.
Tonight was suppose to be girls night with my besties, including @LoverofLit. But snowstorm changed our plans. Bath, wine and book isn't really a substitute for quality gal pal time, but it ain't a bad night either. #booknbath
Man, I understand this on such a deeply personal level. It can be hard to have lingering pain from an injury. To have an invisible condition that doctors do not really recognize and can be hard to explain. You have good days and then the not so good ones. You get really good at hiding it. Then there is also explaining it to new people when it flares up.
Another great, quick read from jill Shalvis! A fun romance with some action.
Unexpected snow day today so am tucking back in with a book after rescheduling today's patients. 🌨❄☃️
Hahaha, I'm gonna have to use "mantrum" now!
And finally get to start this one! One of my favorite authors and about the only romance author I read. Perfect read for December, though this will be a quick one.
Great Christmas escape! Quick read, a little predictable but sometimes that is perfect! A perfectly predictable happy ending!
A fun closed off coworkers to lovers story. Sprinkled with a little mystery around a bad Santa and some of his elves.? An entertaining read that's light on the holiday season aspect. I would've liked to see Molly's dad and Lucas' family feature more as there's stories there. Checking in at 7 hrs for #13b4monday
🍭🍭🍭🍭 Review is up on my blog. Stop by and say hi! This is a cute one! https://reecaspieces.com/2018/09/25/hot-winter-nights-heartbreaker-bay-6-by-jill...
Baseball and reading with peanut! What could be better!!
Jill Shalvis does it again. This was such a fun sexy contemporary romance. I really enjoyed returning to Heartbreaker Bay and catching up with everyone and seeing Molly and Lucas getting their happy ever afters! Can't wait to see what Jill write next!
Diving in to this wintery book on this steamy hot day!
I can‘t even remember who this book features, but it doesn‘t matter. I know Jill Shalvis won‘t disappoint me. ❤️
(Cover is weird because I read on my iPad in dark mode. Better on the eyes.)
A little #ChristmasInJuly romance. Don't you hate when you've been shot recently and them mix a pain killer with way too much alcohol and wake up next to someone you don't know you know? Lol
