1. Yes! I love anti-heroes

2. My fave, from the comic book world, Deadpool. Other faves include Scarlet O‘Hara (Gone With the Wind), Geralt (The Witcher Saga series), Tyler Durden (Fight Club), & Snape (HP). And Brent Weeks‘s Night Angel series is on my TBR.

Ok, this one is weird...well that and Deadpool is off to a The Bermuda Triangle or what he prefers to call “weirdworld.” Lots of things happen—weird things—but it all works out in the end. There‘s also lots of Negasonic Teenage Warhead in this one which is cool. Oh, and best of all? A Harry Caray reference. Not my favorite in the series but it did have some good moments and I‘ll keep reading because, you know, Skottie Young is writing it.

Issue #3 sees Deadpool saving Earth from a terrible alien invader. Yep, that‘s what I said. Of course that‘s not all that happens and what does happen is accompanied by an endless stream of Deadpool‘s foul-mouthed snarkiness. This issue completes the storyline from Issue #2 so there are also some Avengers and other familiar faces. Favorite comic ever? No. A fun read? Yes.

Defaulting to this since the new issue isn‘t in Litsy. Having never read Deadpool before—but doing so now because I‘ll read anything Skottie Young writes—I don‘t have anything to compare this issue against. That being said, I definitely enjoyed my time with Mr. Sassypants & will be back for more. What‘s happening? Deadpool is a mercenary again & wearing stuffie underwear. It‘s a thing & if you want to know more, Deadpool will happily tell you...
