In English, dim sum means little hearts, or touches the heart, but to this young girl, dim sum means delicious. On a visit to a bustling dim sum restaurant, a family picks their favorite little dishes from the steaming trolleys filled with dumplings, cakes, buns, and tarts. And as is traditional and fun, they share their food with each other so that everyone gets a bite of everything. Not much posting lately! Yesterday was another really long workday into work-night & today I met up with former coworkers & went to the maker‘s market & then to get dim sum which inspired today‘s haiku. Yep another food one! 😋😉 Special shout out to my favorite turnip cakes!

The mini writer SFF convention Scintillation begins in Montréal today, with dim sum, as one does. Meeting @writerlibrarian this afternoon. My first panel is tonight. What a lovely day!
