Today @MidnightBookGirl told me about this app that you can use to track your books and it makes this cool calendar. I set mine to just when finished, but they have other calendar options. App is called Bookmory. Imo it‘s not a substitute for Goodreads or StoryGraph, but it‘s pretty cool.

Hey all! I have been working on a masters paper about young adult LGBTQIA books and how important they are for teens to be able to see themselves and/or people they care about in books. I have reviewed a couple on here, but not all of them. I have gotten great feedback on the others and would love to share more of these books with everyone!

July in Review! Pretty good reading month. Two DNF and an average star rating of 3.68. Best of the month was definitely The Change.

Pretty solid reading month for me, best was a toss up between Bad Blood and Nora Goes Off Script.
I'm so happy that May is over and we've moved on to June! Summer has officially started and I'm hoping to get a large amount of audiobooks in as I do things around the house and go on my big (and expensive lol) road trip!
I'm also going to a cabin in the mountains next weekend with some friends. So excited to take the time to relax and decompress.
March was a wild month for me and I didn't get a ton of reading in. What I did read I enjoyed though!
Not as many books this month, but that's ok. I survived! Best of the month by far was The Pick-Up.
Question: What‘s the consensus about reviewing a book that you bailed on? DO you review or not?

1. I don‘t seek out reviews specifically for my own review-writing prep, but since I often read a few right when I start a book, I‘m aware of others‘ opinions when I pen my own response.
2. They don‘t impact my rating, but if I‘ve seen several people mention an issue I might address it in my own review.

This is my #NetGalley situation this year.
I managed to read (or at least get to) basically all the new requests (l've been very careful to request only books l really thought l was going to read). The upper part presents all old ARCs.

I've been so bad at reading challenges in the last year... and in reading in general, l'd say. Thought l've been able to clear almost the entire log of my newly requested #NetGalley book.
But do we want you talk about my older requests?
So this is my goal for August: clear as many 'old' ARCs as possible.
My TBR (to be reviewed) for #Netgalley #Reviewathon 7/22-8/30. This is a small fraction of books I have ready to read and review. I hope to jump in whole heartedly in August as I am still celebrating #Julybrary right now.

I have SO MANY ARCs to catch up on that it's getting ridiculous! So in November I'm focusing on reading and reviewing Netgalley books. It might help me with my book- buying problem too 😅
