We are reading Emerson right now in my 11th grade co-taught English class. I bought this book of his poem, “ Father, We Thank You” because its impressionist style illustrations are quietly beautiful.

💇♀️ A much-overdue haircut on Wednesday (it‘s ~8 in. shorter!)
📚 Seeing a family walking in my neighborhood & noticing one of the kids lagging behind the rest… because she was reading a book while walking.💜
🥗 Dinner with one of my best friends (pictured is the amazing salad I had!)
🗣️ Encouraging conversations as I‘m gathering info on becoming a spiritual director
🍽️ Looking forward to lunch tomorrow with another close friend
1. The eclipse…got to see it with my special glasses.
2. Booked a trip to see our Grandson in May.
3. Our daughter is coming for the summer because she got permission to work remotely.
4. I had a wonderful indie music chat with a friend‘s son. ( like books…I can talk music all day long)
5. I saw mountain goats!

pickEither you find Pinkwater's snarky, offbeat humor to be hilarious, or you find it to be completely bizarre and not particularly funny. I'm in the pro-Pinkwater camp and while this isn't as funny as The Snark-Out Boys and the Avocado of Death, it's still great fun.
