Who is JT LeBeau? A bestselling crime writer, whose words have gripped the world. The only mystery greater than his stories is his true identity. One woman thinks she's found him - her husband has millions in the bank and a letter for the enigmatic author. But the truth is far more TWISTED...

Ooh, this was a fun one! And just as the title states, super twisted. While I did miss Eddie Flynn (the mc from one of his other series), this standalone was the perfect, unexpectedly twisty ride that I was in the mood for 👏🏽 4.5⭐️

I keep trying to read cheerful holiday books, the ones a lot of y'all are reading seem so nice. And yet... after several starts and stops, apparently my tastes around the holidays veer toward crime 🤷🏽‍♀️

5feet.of.fury 😂😂 I feel this. I had picked out 2 festive reads ahead of time, other than that it‘s been 🔪🔪 2y
IndoorDame I feel this! I have a list of sweet seasonal reads I want to be devouring, but aside from 1 Christmas romance novella all my seasonal reading has actually been golden and mysteries and Victorian ghost stories. I guess some of us just aren‘t sugar and spice 😂 2y
Zuhkeeyah Same! I haven‘t touched any of the cute holiday reads I borrowed. It‘s been thrillers and murder mysteries all month. 2y
SamAnne Same. Current reads are Stephen Graham Jones and some dark poetry! 2y
GondorGirl I've been reading lighter holiday books, but watching nothing but true crime documentaries. Glad I'm not the only one. 😅 2y

If I had come away from a holiday without a bookmark I wd have been disappointed and here is my first wooden one ever to mark a very beautiful part of the world.
My holiday has been all thriller reading from my stacked past purchases and this non Eddie Flynn stand alone was as it says on the title suitably full of twists and turns and again perfect holiday reading.

How I spent my day. This is a great thriller. Nice and twisty and not at all predictable.

My weekend reads. There are times when I need to escape into a creepy hole and this past weekend was one of those times. The tagged book was by far my favourite! Cavanagh knows how to keep you guessing until the end. For me the other three books fell a bit flat. I found them to be predictable and the plots fairly formulaic. But the Cavanagh book was great.

Bk3 is done! Wow. Wow wow wow🤯This has to be one of the best plot driven thrillers I‘ve read in a long time. I pride myself on being able to figure out how it‘s going to end well before it does, but this? The body count in this is amazing and if you aren‘t doing a What The??? at the end, I take my hat off to you. Highly highly recommend 10⭐️ #MrBook1InAMillion #LitsyPartyOfOne #24B4Monday #readathon

Andrew65 You are just a reading machine. Amazing with the pain your back is giving you. 🙌🙌🙌 5y
JacqMac Well, who can ignore a review like that? 5y
MamaGina Does this one feature the same con man turned lawyer protagonist as Thirteen? I really liked him! 🤓 5y

Lizpixie @Andrew65 I‘ve lived with chronic pain for a very long time. When I have acute flares like this, distraction is the only thing that helps & reading is my distraction of choice👍 5y
Lizpixie @JacqMac please read it, I need someone to talk to about what happened!🙏 5y
Lizpixie @MamaGina No, this is a standalone. I‘ve just read Thirteen last month and this one is better. Much better.🙌 5y
ljuliel Sounds really good. I‘m glad you liked it so much ! 5y
MrBook Added! 😁 5y
Clwojick I honestly just fast forwarded through all of my notifications to see if you reviewed the book already. And of course you had - cause youre a READING MACHINE!!! I'm so glad you enjoyed this one too. Maybe I'll cave and buy myself a copy of the audiobook as a belated bday gift. 😆 5y

Snack break! Tonight‘s break is brought to you by a cheese & tomato jaffle. Mm mm mmm😋Hows everyone else doing in their #MrBook1InAMillion #LitsyPartyOfOne #24B4Monday #readathon This novel is certainly living up to its name. I couldn‘t explain the plot if you put a gun to my head. I have no idea where it‘s headed, but boy is it a fun ride! #whatthehelldidijustread

jb72 Wow you‘re doing awesome! My lunch snack will be velveeta shells and cheese. I‘m so looking forward to it. 5y
MrBook A jaffle? 😳 5y
ljuliel You already went over 24 ! Good for you ! I‘m guessing the jaffle is like one of the things you make in the electric sandwich maker things ? I make tuna melts and pizza sandwiches in them. And sometimes grilled bacon and cheese. (edited) 5y

Lizpixie @jb72 thank you! Enjoy your lunch? I think?😋 @MrBook it‘s a toasted sandwich made in a jaffle iron, it‘s like a waffle iron for sandwiches👐 5y
Lizpixie @ljuliel bingo! We call them jaffles here in Aus, though I think different states call it something else. In NSW it‘s jaffles anyway. 5y
ljuliel I‘m glad I learned something new today. I‘ve never heard that word used before. 😊 5y
MrBook Ahhh 😳 5y
Andrew65 I‘d not heard of them either, but regularly eat them! That time! 🥳🥳🥳🍾🥂 5y

Going with another thriller for Bk3 of my #MrBook1InAMillion #LitsyPartyOfOne #24B4Monday #readathon I read Thirteen by the same author for last months #Scareathlon & really liked it, so I‘m hoping for another hit. The blurb doesn‘t give much away-Before you read this know 3 things 1.The police look to charge me with murder 2.No one knows who I am or how I did it 3.If you think you‘ve found me I‘m coming for you next. The truth is more twisted🤔

rockpools Look forward to your review of this one - Thirteen was great! Hope he keeps it up. 5y
MidnightBookGirl I did enjoy Th1rt3en, so maybe I'll snag this one! 5y
Andrew65 Not an author I know so looking forward to hearing what you think. 😊 5y

Mehso-so

I was disappointed with this one after loving Thirteen! A bit too far fetched for a thriller.

⭐⭐⭐

Issy_King Also what I felt, thought Thirteen was a better book and liked his cunning nature. This book was good but felt a bit like other crime books, not much uniqueness but still good just expected better. 5y
