Dear Brave Friend | Leigh Gerk

For those of you who might not know, it‘s with a very heavy heart that I share the loss of a dear friend that I “met” here on Litsy…Elisabeth Anderson (@eanderson).

Elisabeth fought hard and bravely against cancer for 4 years before gaining peace last month.

She was a sweet, dear person, who shared insightful and often funny reviews of her favorite books. And she especially loved her some Kim Stone. 😉😊🕵🏻‍♀️

Last night, I had the privilege of hearing @ChrisBohjalian speak about his new book at my local #indiebookstore, Quail Ridge Books. What made it even better was having my friends and fellow Littens @MallenNC and @Graciouswarriorprincess there too!
This book sounds so good and I can‘t wait to read it!

In my early days as a #Litten I thought I'd start posting books I wanted to read with a woman holding something #BehindHerBack. Especially loved The Magician's Lie & The Book of Lost Names. @tpixie joined in 3 years ago with The Engineer's Wife, which was also really good. Then I guess I gave up. Hello! Holy moly was that ever a good nap. I don‘t want to brag or anything because I understand that sleep gets progressively crappy as we age, but wow. That was restorative.
