This was an interesting story. I liked how it opened and the way the plot developed. Just enough spice a d surprise to keep me interested. 4⭐️

Well with my current aversion to watching TV and the help of listening to this whole book on Sunday I‘ve reached my #SuperSeptember page goal on day 2. It was a great story and I immediately downloaded book 2. I‘ve also been able to check another box for #BookSpinBingo.
I gotta admit I had a great reading weekend. And it‘s been a long time since I‘ve had one of those.
Parts of this made me blush, some made me laugh and the whole book made me want to read more. Clem‘s character was well written and the memory loss topic well researched, and depicted with complete honesty. No great surprises here but an enjoyable romp through a romantic story with some sexy spice and a dab of mystery.
The ending/ "plot twist" as to who the bad guy was, was glaringly obvious!
Took Peri for a walk and listened to this week's episode of the romance book podcast Fated Mates. The two hosts talked about their top five 2019 romances. They had some great picks.
#BBRC @LibrarianRyan @Librarybelle Two more books read for this challenge: Repeat is a contemporary romance that was published in 2019 and in Stranded with a Billionaire, the two leads are trapped in a hurricane - when it rains it pours.
So I love a good amnesia story and will put up with a lot of shenanigans on the part of the loved ones since how often does amnesia really happen, but there is a lot of controlling behavior happening all over this story.
For #RippedBodiceBingo eloping
I stayed up suuuuuper late reading this one last night. Clementine is left with amnesia after an attack. She has to figure out who she is again and why she had recently broken up with her boyfriend.
I love amnesia plots in romance. To me they are the best type of ridiculousness. My only complaint for this book is we only get Clem's point of view. I would have loved Ed's. #romantsy
I loved this way more than I expected to! Thanks for the rec @Nessavamusic ! I should know that anything you recommend is going to be great! I enjoyed this take on a second chance romance. The characters were well developed, the sexy times were sexy, and the smaller details throughout checked the boxes I look for in a contemporary romance. The end wasn‘t a surprise, but that didn‘t take anything away from my enjoyment of the story. #Romantsy

1. Repeat - Kylie Scott
How Long ‘til Black Future Month - N.K. Jemisin
Fierce Fairytales - Nikita Gill
Six of Crows - Leigh Bardugo
2. All of the above, but I generally go with eBook or audiobook because my psoriatic arthritis makes holding a book open difficult.
3. Moby Dick - Herman Melville
Very enjoyable audio romance. Excellent narration as always by Andi Arndt. Clementine has amnesia caused by a traumatic head injury. Ed is her ex that she broke up with, but we don‘t know why. Though I guessed the ending fairly early I still enjoyed the journey. #romantsy #audiobook
For today‘s prompt #forgetmenot I share my current #audiobook I‘m really enjoying this book about a woman who survives a serious head injury with traumatic memory loss. So far it‘s very good and Andi Arndt is hands down one of the best narrators around. #LiteraryLove
