I‘m in the middle of re-reading this one and it‘s such a great book. It‘s like traveling to Venice, a little history lesson, and vacation romance all at once. Delightful.

LorieL Gorgeous reading environment! ♥️ 5y

NovelGirl82 Jackaby is a favorite!! I love all of those that I‘ve read so far. I‘ve read The Nest. It was a so-so for me. I wanted to love it, but I just didn‘t. 6y
Melli The Nest has been on my shelf for a minute 6y
xxjenadanxx I love both The Alice Network and Between Shades of Gray! 6y
Zelma If you don‘t mind rich people problems as the reason for a novel‘s plot, The Nest is actually quite good. I know it‘s not super popular on here but I found it very moving. And the The Namesake is a great story. 6y
Reagan The Golem and the Jinni is one that I constantly recommend to people. And by recommend I mean demand they read it. 6y

How has this never been reviewed on Litsy? Pretty entertaining read. It hits all my favorites: modern perspective aligned with a historical event, a little romance, and a little mystery. I honestly did not realize that this was a two-part series when I started, but I‘m moving to “The Devlin Diary” next.😀
